I made an online order on mother's day. When I made it to the restaurant, I was told that they had ran out of food and I was going to be refunded. I was fine with that. However, after about 2 weeks now, I still haven't gotten my refund, when I call I get hung up on. I left messages and I've gone up there and nothing. Very disappointed from this place.
“Boiled Brisket, Salty Turkey, and Baked Beans from the Underworld – Never Again!”
Took a chance on Dickey’s Barbecue Pit through Uber Eats. That was my first mistake.
They forgot my ribs—which I now consider a blessing. Had they included them, I might’ve needed therapy. The brisket looked like it was boiled in sadness—no smoke ring, no char, no love. I didn’t even bother tasting it. Visually, it was enough of a red flag.
The turkey? So salty it could’ve preserved itself for the apocalypse. I couldn’t finish it. I don’t know what they’re using for seasoning—possibly road salt?
One lonely rib did show up, and yep, you guessed it—boiled again. Are they running a barbecue pit or a soup kitchen?
The potato salad was flavorless. A bland, cold reminder that not everyone should be allowed near mayonnaise. And the baked beans—oh, Lord. Whoever made those must’ve confused the recipe with used motor oil. One bite left a taste in my mouth I couldn't scrub away. I rinsed, gagged, and threw the entire thing in the trash—right next to the potato salad.
Final verdict:
Dickey’s BBQ is an insult to barbecue. I wouldn’t eat here again if it was the last place on Earth. Doesn’t matter who takes over—if the same cooks are in the kitchen, the food’s still trash. Save your money, your stomach, and your soul.
Below or photos to show you I'm not mine show me where the smoke ring?
One star. Only because Google won’t let me give zero.
The brisket was dry and saggy fries , I felt bad afterwards had diarrhea and fever after eating this nasty food.
Very poor customer service, food was saggy and salty and the brisket was dry
Stop by Dickey’s at 7:21 on a Sunday evening and they are closed. The manager said they don’t have enough food to stay open. On my way to Rudy’s I’m sure they have plenty of food.
I walk in the store at 7:12PM, I’m looked at as if the staff seen a ghost. I awkwardly tell them I’m here to make a togo order. I then get hit with “Oh sir Sorry, we are closing and we have ran out of things” so I leave. The store hours say the store is suppose to close at 8PM today.
Hey Franchise Owners, District Managers, Store Managers….. what’s up with this? Are y’all allowing this?
Food, and staff is amazing! My sister and I stopped by to get lunch for us, and a friend we were visiting in the hospital. We so appreciated the sweet girl with the great personality and curls who took our order, wish I had gotten her name. Then about five hours later my sister realized she couldn’t find her wallet. We called Dickey’s to see if she left it there, Maleek answered the phone, and cheerfully said, yes Miss Marilyn we have your wallet in the drawer. OMG! she was so thankful, and appreciative! Thank you Dickey’s for employing the best employees, and making the best barbecue!!! Carolyn Moceri & Marilyn De León.
The black-haired lady wearing glasses was cutting or filing her nails during work hours and in a very bad mood, she didn't add barbecue sauce to my burger, nor did she add the jalapeños.
Went to this location 3/26/25 @ 7:40 they closes @ 8 the door was locked . A guy came to the unlock I said are you closed, he yes. I said it’s not 8’o clock. He said they had a catering party. I said I understand that I said, but you have regular customers too. He said “it’s already paid for and close the door and locked it.. as a customer what does any of this have to with servicing outside customers. Someone else should’ve been able to service customers while he worked on the catering order.I thought this was very rude & unprofessional.
They were very helpful good place for Mother's Day every one enjoyed themselves ❤️

Will never eat here again. If I could give 0 stars I would.
Seems like a rough patch for the buisness but this place is just as good as ever
Don’t even bother ordering online. They let you place the order and they accept. 20 mins later they call you saying they don’t have the items. Some kind of business.
The bbq sauce is to bitter, and the bbq isn't tender. Will not go back.
Screwed up my order twice. Asked for 2 number 4s. Chopped Brisket sandwich. Was served sliced beef with bread. Had them fix it. Said chopped beef twice to make sure we were on the same page. Recieved a sliced beef sandwich. Gave up and ate it anyway. Fries tasted frozen and the coleslaw was 95% cabbage with no sauce. Paid 30 something dollars and didnt include a fountain drink even though it depicted the combo with one in the photo.
