I'm not a purebred but my dad came from Cuba many years ago so I've had my share of black beans :) Very cute restaurant inside even if the outside lacks an inviting look. Worth a try.My observations:Tostones were a bit dense - not sure how fresh they were. Mojo was tasty. Croquettes were obviously hand prepared but the temperature on the fryer may have been a bit off because it seems the breading absorbed a bit too much grease. Flavor wasn't bad. Food was amazing, service was spot on. They sure stepped up their game from when I went a few years ago. Just a heads up, they play live music after 9 or 10 and dance. Will be coming back again.

Went for a early dinner and it was a nice quiet atmosphere. They have live music on some nights. The prices are average, the drinks were okay However, the food is really good. Customer service was very good and the server was very helpful on explaining the different entrees. Would definitely visit again!
