This was my first in person visit to a Golden Chick, and I cannot relay how impressed I was just on a simple review. Christian was very friendly and helpful, my order was ready when I got there, the environment was well lit and clean. I appreciated seeing TVs on the wall making a welcoming atmosphere. The staff were orderly and looked clean too. I haven't seen a clean fast-food place around Houston in years, so this was all mind blowing to experience. Whoever is running this place runs a tight ship and has a bright future. Thanks for making the night great! And boy howdy, the Lucky 13 feels like a great deal.

The food taste is great as always...but the serving size on the family sides has been weak. The family size already appear smaller than they used to be... and now only filling those about 2/3 full. Its intentional... wasn't just on one visit and wasn't on one of the sides. Dont like this new direction.

The chicken was crispy and tender, one of the better locations that I have been to! Dalet was super helpful and very patient with me because I didn’t know what to order, I highly recommend ordering from Dalet when going!

Great food! It's a bit on the expensive side I spend about 50 bucks to feed a family of 3. But you definitely get what you pay for so no real complaints. The employees are always nice and respectful and embodies that southern hospitality. 5 starts great job!

I love eating their spicy pickle wings. At first I was but afraid to try just didn't sound appealing. Then one day I asked for a six piece half lemon pepper and the other spicy pickle. The taste was good and delightful. A must try if you go there

I’d heard great things about Golden Chick from friends and neighbors, so I decided to give it a try after visiting The Light Park in Spring, TX. Sadly, my experience wasn’t great at all. I ordered rolls and a few other items, but after waiting 30 minutes, I found out the rolls hadn’t even been started... My kids were starving, and to make it worse, employees in the back were laughing about it. Disappointing experience — I value good service, and this visit really missed that mark.

The chicken is so expensive, and the price is not competitive with other chicken establishments. I visited Golden Chick on October 16, 2025, and noticed the chicken definitely has a poor taste compared to when they first opened. The chicken holds a lot of grease, and the quality just isn't the same. They gave me some old, hard pieces, and some had just been pulled from the grease. However, even the fresh chicken that had just come up tasted very poor. They have most definitely changed vendors or ingredients, or both. When I brought this to the server's attention and asked for fresher pieces, the server took the piece I touched to test its freshness and put it back under the warmer with all the other chicken. That is definitely unacceptable. The chicken is already too expensive, and to not give customers good-tasting food is not good at all. If they continue with this type of service, they will not be open much longer.
