This is exactly the type of place that my soul was needing. The meatloaf was spot-on and the red sauce is essentially culinary crack. The mac and cheese is the perfect ratio and the sweet tea is what's going to bring me back for round two! Add to that the people behind the counter are the sweetest, kindness and carrying people you'll ever meet! It's safe to say that my soul is satiated!
A colleague mentioned this restaurant to me years ago. I tried it today and was overall disappointed. While everyone has bad days, redeeming oneself when doing so in a customer service business environment is critical. I walked in an hour or so before closing, and an older man sitting at a table to my left wearing an apron never greeted me.
