This place is legit the best soul food in the I've had in the Spring area. I recently had the smothered chicken plate with rice and gravy and 2 sides with greens and yams. I also had their kool aid which was just right and a large slice of homemade pound cake which reminded me of home. Next, visit I'll get pictures lol.
This was my first time ordering and I don't regret it! I ordered Thursday's special which was meatloaf served with rice and gravy, my sides were black eye peas and green beans. Everything was so delicious. I appreciated the extra container of gravy that I used on my meatloaf. The meatloaf was tender and nicely seasoned.
