H Sam Oriental Bistro

I absolutely loved the Oriental Bistro! It is such a nice little place for lunch with a friend. They weren't very busy and we were seated immediately. Food was served quickly and the portions were large for the cost. The server was very friendly. I would definitely go back.

It was delicious! We loved every part of our meal! Love the sesame kitchen and fried rice the most!

Dine in or carry out is always a wonderful experience, my wife and I go here often as our default for Asian food. They have both Chinese and Japanese menu options, and everything is always delicious, fresh, and beautifully presented.I highly recommend the Thai Chicken Curry, and try some of their sushi rolls!

Having had excellent food for several years, the past two deliveries did not include items we requested, and had repeated to me. Likewise, we asked that the dinners be mild and one time it was so hot we could not eat the food and twice, including tonight, they did not season two dishes. My wife is curious to know if they changed ownership. Unless they provide a free meal for the three of us, and it is perfect, they have lost our business and referrals.

I love H Sam Bistro's! The food is always hot and freshly cooked. They are always happy to make substitutions to your order.

I had the orange chicken and it was delicious. They actually only deliver sometimes depending on staff it sounds like. The place is cute inside. Smells really good. And the staff was nice.

We have had sushi in many places all over the country and can say this is the best we have ever had! The yami yami roll was deliscious and all of the rolls were exceptionally fresh and full of flavor. This is our new go-to spot for sushi in the neighborhood.

The mooshoo pork here is amazing! I always get extra pancakes instead of the rice, and they actually ask how many you want. Another little gem from this place is the Unagi sushi as it is so buttery it will melt in your mouth. 2 good- sized pieces atop a rice pilaf, set in place by seaweed for 4 bucks is not a bad deal for really great Eel.

Wow! Ordered delivery tonight from H Sam Oriental Bistro and we were impressed. Food was fresh and very hot. It was supposed to take 45 min but was delivered in less than 30. We will order again.

Friendly staff and good food. The portions are great for the price and they often have a deal or two that offers even more value. This place is tucked in to the corner of the Kroger shopping center right where the building bends around. We always do takeout but there are usually several people in the dining area. The dining room is rather small but I think most people do takeout.

This was a great place to order from. We picked up an order we placed online and everything was accurate and on time. I informed them of a peanut allergy in the order but completely forgot to mention an MSG allergy. Though the food was very good, but I did have a reaction which confirmed they do use MSG in their cooking. Totally my fault for forgetting to mention it. Just something to be aware of. They also threw in an extra appetizer for free and that was so nice. The wonton and egg drop soups were amazing and the orange chicken was pretty average. We would totally recommend this place, but think it should be made clear on their website that they use MSG.

“Dining experience”? No. Good food? Yes!This is one of the best lunch spots in the area. Excellent tempura. Hearty, tasty bento box. Great hot and sour soup. Fast service. Chinese and Japanese beers and sake. All that and competitive prices.

Food was great and staff was helpful! Would highly recommend.

I ordered the chicken beef and shrimp in shar char sauce.. it stated mushroom, snow peas and baby corn… I did not receive this dish as the picture shows (my family isn’t interested in large pieces of carrot, onion and bell pepper which is what we did receive). The chow mein I ordered had no noodles? Looks like a cabbage substitute. Super disappointing to not get what I ordered in the least bit after a rough day.Edit: I returned the food and was told chow mein does not include noodles, however, google defines chow mein as “Chow mein are Chinese stir-fried noodles with vegetables and sometimes meat or tofu”… I’m fully willing to accept they make their dish differently, however they may want to state that. I then showed them the shar char dish and was told they never have had baby corn and that their menu hasn’t been updated in awhile. The person became extremely aggravated with me even though I felt uncomfortable standing up for myself and apologized for them making my food wrong, and asked me what I would like them to do, and I said I guess I’d like my money back since your menu doesn’t seem accurate and I don’t know what I will get… She then very hotly told me the menu has been the same for 20 years… you can see the confusion lol. Point of the review, their menu is not accurate and they don’t care.

Ordered take out, food was excellent. Only negative was arrived when told it would be ready but had to wait 50 more minutes for order. It was Christmas, they were really busy. I will just eat in their dining room and enjoy some tea while I wait. Staff very pleasant.
