Hokulia Shave Ice

Great flavors but only limited to only 3-4 in the medium cup.

Love this place. This is the only authentic shaved ice place locally that I truly enjoy!

Fantastic experience!!! All the way from the service to the many flavor choices. I personally had the Da Kine and it was a really nice treat! The syrups didn’t feel super heavy and sugary which was nice as well. I recommend checking this place out, especially after your shopping trip in HEB. Workers are super friendly. Always look foward to returning. 5 ⭐️ for sure!

my ‘Ohana stopped by because I was missing Kahaluu-Keauhou.
I see a few people saying this is not ice shave just a sno cone.
I’ve had both from this location, our first time reminded me of a little shack on Ali’i drive in Kona. The ice was packed just right, it held the syrup through out and was slow to melt.
But the very next weekend I got a fluffy sno cone, syrup ran right to the bottom and it melted quickly from all the air gaps. I just chalked it up to it being very busy. I still ate my Pokē and enjoyed my 808, in the sunshine.
One bad experience won’t keep us away. Can’t get Da Kine ice shave I like nowhere else in Houston.
Mahalo for bringing the 808 to the mainland. Yes we hit up the Utah locations and others when we travel. 🤙

Not a long wait time especially on a hot summer day. The staff was friendly and recommended some yummy combos.

I got the flavor of the week " shark attack" For shark week! Yummy! Came with sour shark gummies on top and a free pair of shark sunglasses. So fun!!

I definitely recommend if your in the shopping area!

These snow cones are absolutely amazing! They are super fast, and it’s a great deal. It’s five dollars for the medium size which is humongous.

Perfect love there snow cones

Clarissa at Hokulia was a please to work with! She was very accommodating to our needs for my daughter’s party and the set up was perfect. Plus the snow cones were delicious. Highly recommend!

Updated to add: the manager Clarissa was extremely helpful and understanding. She addressed the situation promptly & corrected the mistakes. We will be going back to try again.Went there yesterday & had a great experience. So I decided to bring my recently disabled mother in law with me today. The girl at the front has a horrible attitude. We needed a receipt for legal reasons & explained the disability. she told us it would be on the cup. It wasn’t, so we asked her for an email copy. Multiple times. & she kept getting an attitude. I asked her again and explained to her why we needed it. She told me that she’s 15 years old. I said okay. Can I write down the email? She said she was calling her boss. I understand she was having difficulty with the ice, but she could have just written the email down and sent the receipt when she had time. Long story short, if you have someone with special needs who needs to be accommodated. Do not go here.
