We was staying at the Marriott hotel and my son was craving pizza. Thankfully Island Grill was across the street at walking distance. We ordered a large pepperoni pizza and 3 drinks the total was $45. Delicious pizza, ice cold beer and watching a football game is always a good time.

Food and atmosphere are fine, but the service is not very welcoming. We sat at the patio with a dog. There were some dirty dog bowls in a corner, but the server didn’t offer to bring water to him.

Overall satisfied with our visit. I was craving breakfast but apparently during the week they stop serving breakfast by 11am. We got here around 11:30. So although I wasn’t fully satisfied with my cravings (because I wanted pancakes eggs and bacon) what I did eat was good and I won’t allow my tastebuds to give me bias.
I wasn’t expecting to eat Mediterranean food but here we are. I wouldn’t call it out of this world but it wasn’t bad by any means (again this is probably my bias that I’m trying to tame due to me wanting pancakes eggs and bacon).
Plates are a bit on the high side regarding how much food you’re getting compared to other Mediterranean restaurants. I do want to add that this is not a Mediterranean restaurant however the food we got was Mediterranean. They sell pizza and burgers and breakfast (again only until 11am on weekdays) but I’m basing this off the food we ate.
My chicken pitta was really good. Better than what I was anticipating and good enough to not be bitter about not getting breakfast. It wa soft and warm and the chicken was tender and juicy with good seasoning.
My wife had the chicken kabob plate and her chicken was seasoned differently but still tasted very good.
I don’t think we will be coming back unless we can make it before 11am to try their breakfast food.

The food is good. But they are now sending me promotion emails every day. Is a bit annoying! I didn't give permission to this.

Got the Gyro platter and the Houstonian Turkey Sandwich. Platter does not hold up to other Halal places, it was very bland, and the small sauce they gave me did nothing to help. I get the health focus of the place, but if your going to add veggies like broccoli, mushrooms, and bell pepper, add spice. Turkey sandwich in the other hand was amazing, everything on it tasted fresh and delicious.

The tomato soup and grilled cheese were spot on good! Drinks were heavy, the atmosphere upbeat. Employees are happy and helpful. Hats off to the bartender great job!
