We stopped at Jax because of the 4.9 star review. The burger was ok. Nothing fancy. I also had the cajun fries, that lacked “cajun”. The customer service was awesome and for that I might try again for a shake.

August 16, 2022: This is the drive thru menu and the only menu that applies for this location. An associate from this location informed me the owner has to update the website for their location and confirmed that the drive-through menu is the only menu that applies for them. The other online menus are not up-to-date per the associate. The options are limited and pricey. Other JAX locations have offered more and better prices.

It has been well over 5 years since I last visited a JAX Burgers Fries Shakes. After driving around looking for a certain bbq food truck, I decided to indulge in some nostalgia. The staff was really friendly and I got the BBQ burger, with regular Jax fries. I would say it took a little over 15 minutes to get my food hot and heavy in the bag.I try to document everything, but one tip I will share is to not take pictures when you are starving, lol I think I held the burger upside down. In my humble opinion, Jax does a great job making a great burger that isn't messy, the beef is extremely tasty, they do not skimp on the sauce and you will be full for the rest of the day if you are not careful.I'd pass on the fries, next time ill try the new waffle fries. There is only one other burger that comes close to this...

Not many "off the big chain" burger places you find taking the leisurely way back home that actually cooks a burger the right way, and with a decent size patty and decent sized bun stacked high.

We have been here and the staff are super friendly. The shakes are really good. But my favorite is the garlic fries!! They have good tasting burgers as well.

Burgers were pretty good, won't be going back though, whoever is answering emails for the company likes to give attitude for a simple suggestion. I emailed them today saying they should clarify their location more because they have a 2920 location and a "spring Cypress" location which is literally on the corner of 2920 and i45, not spring Cypress. I got an email from John Recio saying "Sorry you don't know the difference. Good luck.". You obviously don't care about your customers so I will not be returning.

Best burgers around. Burgers are cooked to juicy perfection. Buns are toasty and delicious. The service is most excellent. And the tables are clean. Hard to call this a fast food joint.

They just can't land on a strategy. They've gone through so many iterations of the menu and the drinks, it's hard to know what you'll find each time you go. I'm not likely to return often and instead will look elsewhere.

Awesome mushroom burger, fries n sweet tea are spot on. Lulu knows what I want, makes it easy on the order, waiting on the BBQ

Usually love this place, but they now have a new very limited menu and raised prices. We pulled up to the window and every other thing we ordered they didn't have anymore, out of half of their fountain drinks as well. Probably won't be returning to this location.

Great service, quality food at a good price. From the original Jax burger to the Shroom, it's all delish!! Add on a cajun fries and shake and you're golden. Oh, and we were pleasantly surprised that afternoon that it was Happy Hour $3 shakes so we ordered another one to go. They do not disappoint!!

So very delicious! Juicy burgers, great flavors, toppings, and helpful/nice employees. The Tuesday 2 for 2 $22 special is great for a couple, and it's nice that they also offer other food items, like chicken tenders. Aside from the burgers they also have good french fries and free refills.

I'm not sure who at JAX thought it was a good idea to change the menu, change the meat patties and change the prices so much. My wife and I ate burger and cheese fries and both had a drink, it was $44. Never again for me, we can go to a decent restaurant for that, its a good burger but not for that price. 1 week prior I fed 3 people at Hippo burger ($38) for less than 2 at JAX. Definitely gonna run your customers off with these prices, it ran me off!

I have been eating at Jax for years. Last night was the first time in a few months and I was truly disappointed. They changed their menu to singles, double, triple and etc. I called and was told that a single was a quarter pound. It was a flat patty. It use to be a 1/3 pound, real burger for less money. The new burger is in no way 1/4 pound served on a huge bun. I literally cut my burger in half and stacked the meat and threw away the over half of the bun. I’d prefer they just raise the prices and keep the same 1/3 pound and 1/2 pound burgers. The only plus is the staff were very pleasant. However, I will not go back as long as they are using those burgers.

Good tasting fresh burger. But pattie was kind of small compared to the bun. Price a little high like going to five guy burgers. Can get the same burger for less at Hippo Burger off beltway 8 and 249 area. Still good place to come if you are close by.
