Super fun karaoke with Cedric and Cali the bartender makes great drinks!
We were here for memorial weekend. The vibe was chill and inviting. The bartender Marve was very welcoming and attentive. It was a fun karaoke night. 10/10 would come again.
Coolest little dive bar in Spring! Live music, 'oke, pool, ping pong, bad ass selection of craft beer, spirits from around the world, shhhhiiiiiiiit đ
Walked in and sat at the bar, inhaled some second hand smoke for 10 minutes. Never received service. Walked out.
Bonus stars for being a local bar and having darts/pool, but took 10+ minutes to order drinks and its so smoky inside.

Update: unfortunately this once dog friendly bar has been taken over by an off leash pitbull mix that is a regular with its owner. We were simply walking up to the entrance to jive and a pitbull mix came sprinting at us full speed. The irresponsible owner tried to blame our little leashed dog for being scared at a charging pitbull and us for picking him up to protect him. My husband had to push his dog off of us as it was still trying to get to our dog and the owner kept saying she's friendly but her behavior said otherwise. This is apparently not the first time, as the dog is frequently left unleashed and runs up on people barking. Needless to say we did not feel safe there anymore and just left, which sucked cause this is our favorite bar in this area.
Just a word of caution to any dog owner, beware of unleashed dogs at this establishment.

We love Jive, it's our favorite local bar for sure! Super chill environment and nice outdoor patio area. Best part: they are DOG FRIENDLY! So many draft options to choose from and rotating taps. They have pool tables, darts, ping pong, and board games. May have to wait a bit to order your drink since it seems they are usually low on bartenders but that depends on the day. So happy they were able to survive the pandemic.
Cali is funny af

Black dude with the dreads tipped himself with a 20 dollar bill. Payed last drink with a 20 and he kept it, said "You haven't been tipping me so I took it. Thought we tipped at the end of service but alright.

So Iâve been going here for about three months and I always chalked up the difference in prices to the times i was there, being happy hour/reverse happy hour or whatever. Me being a former bar owner for 20 years, I tend to notice things that normal patrons donât. Tonight I had a jackass of a bartender(barely)that, by the name of James, make me two green tea shots. Normally, I wouldnât say anything about a week before, but there wasnât even enough Jamison to go on one shot of green tea. Upon getting these sweet-and-sour shots, I get a bill or told the bill rather of $16. I have ordered these shots before and theyâve never been that expensive and I directly asked him so shots are eight dollars apiece and he said yes. Well, little did he know that his coworker was with us that night as well, I finally got the proof that he overcharged me just like I thought on purpose trying to steal from me. I gave him a chance to admit what he did, thinking maybe it is an addition error, but then again, even if you canât add 750 and 750 or seven and seven maybe he shouldnât be behind the bar , running a register. So which is it? Are you just stupid or are you a thief like I proved. Confronting him, I asked for my receipt which he refused to give me and then went into his tip jar and threw me a few bucks $1 maybe 2 dollars or something. This makes me even more positive his theft goes beyond ripping off customers . This Brings up a question of, why, the ârounding upâ extra cash, is in your tip jar and not the drawer. so now youâre stealing from the bar. Hopefully Heather or Taylor sees this and rectifies the situation I will not be going back there until. James is fired. He had the nerve to Threaten to kick me out after trying to steal from me, the audacity to continuously be rude to me because he got caught stealing. Thatâs intolerable in our industry.
Iâm owed $20 and Iâd say an apology but really what would it mean coming from a simpleton like James the thief.
Not a lot of money, but itâs principle. Maybe Iâd youâd given better service James, you wouldnât have to tip off the good patrons of the jive bar

Dont pay with a credit card. They will rob you. Better use cash.
