This place is so cute and the food is awesome! The location is not in the most convenient, but it is amazing once you find it. Also the staff is so amazing.

I decided to treat myself to a Friday meal. First I called and was informed the restaurant did not have Galbi. Then I decided to order side items since I was already in traffic and headed in that direction. I ordered seasoned pickled radish, kimbob, and cucumber kimchi. I get my order and noticed my pickled radish is mainly onions! If I wanted pickled onions I would've ordered that, this item is $7.99 by itself. Not pleased at all! I will never order this again!

I would not even give a one star review but left no choice. I do not know if the owners know how to professionally run a restaurant. I ordered a meal for three people a few weeks ago. Three entrees, sides, rice, appetizers, etc. I had parents for dinner and had it delivered. The delivery came and one whole meal was left behind along with my sides. The door dash delivery person took picture of the one, single, little bag. Who ever packed up this order knew there was no way that one little bag had enough food for three people or the door dash person kept one bag for themselves. I called immediately and explained problem and explained I had guests. They sent the rest of the order an hour later. I tipped more than I should have and did not even leave bad review which I should have. I thought maybe a bad night (even though it was a Thursday.) My family is coming to dinner tonight and I called ahead in order to surprise them. Well, this restaurant had the nerve to refuse my order. They said last time the order was too large for them to handle and they lost money on it because they had to remake the food that Door Dash never delivered. This was an order for three people. It was my parents and Jjigae was not able to handle an order for my family to be delivered. Either the staff is very incompetent or they have a scam going on with Door Dash. We will never order from them again since there seems to be issues with cooking three entrees. Yes, I spoke to owner and was told they lost money because Door Dash did not deliver our food. I explained picture again and maybe they need to change delivery service. After the Covid pandemic and businesses closing left and right you would think a restaurant would welcome business. Well, they just lost more business. Thank goodness there are so many places in The Woodlands to eat.

Absolutely delicious food. I got the spicy pork belly and could not have been happier. They are a little hidden now thanks to the overpass but I suggest everyone go try this place out.

Wow, this hidden away is killer, the soup , dumplings and coffee were excellent, look for them off Rayford rd. It's worth it and they're priced right too

Since moving to The Woodlands in May, I have ordered/picked up from Jjigae 5x. The only items I've ordered continuously are the bulgogi kimbap and the sam gyup sal (grilled pork belly lettuce wraps) and the iced citron tea. It's the only Korean place that I can get delivery from through DoorDash - or close enough to pick up quickly. I can't compare them to other Korean places in Spring, Conroe or Houston cos I haven't been to any others yet so it wouldn't be fair. For a small hole in the wall, Jjigae totally satisfies my cravings for kimbap and grilled pork belly and the food arrives hot and tastes fresh. Yes, the pork belly can be a little dry at times but it's not a huge deal because I dip it in the soybean sauce anyway! The people who work there are nice and welcoming, it's also clean.

Excellent food! Excellent service! 5 stars is not enough - if you enjoy Korean food, please try this place. If you’ve never had it before, try it here first!! 10/10

This is my favorite restaurant! My boyfriend and I have been loyal patrons since they opened. The owners are some of the sweetest people you will ever meet and all the staff is wonderful. I’ve had just about every item on the menu and it’s all incredible- but my favorite is the spicy ramen and the kimbap. I would eat here every day if I could! If you love Asian food, this place is a must try for simple, authentic Korean cuisine. If you’ve never tried Korean food (there are only 2 places in Montgomery County that have it!) swing by Jjigae and give it a try. You won’t find anywhere better without going all the way into Houston. I cannot say enough about this place. They deserve so much more than 5 stars!

The staff is great, super friendly and great with accommodations! We love coming in for a wonderful dining experience. Have not been disappointed and don't think we ever will. The food is authentic, fresh and is reasonably priced. Looking forward to many more dine-ins!

I did myself an injustice by not trying this place out sooner. Food was hot and fresh and very flavorful. This will be one of my new spots.
