The place look deserted when I arrived but a quick call connected me with John who let me know his wife was in residence and would happily show me their wares. Violet gave me a tour of the roaster, explained the various coffee beans in house. She gave me a glimpse of future plans including bigger quantities of beans sold at a better price. Truth be told pricing was spot on given how fresh the product is. While you can buy Jovi on Amazon and even through their website, having them in town ensures the freshest roast and some great conversation with the owners. I ended up with a bag of Marcala and their holiday blend featuring beans from Honduras and Antigua. The owners have traveled to the region and learned the preparation process there.
