Susanita’s atmosphere is warm and welcoming, it feels like I’m waking into my tias kitchen! The new owner has made true improvements you can tell in service and food! The staff is friendly and service is top-notch. If you love strong drinks you have to try the margaritas!
Enjoyed the food the atmosphere and the service.. I shall return
The service was great. Staff was friendly and attentive. The atmosphere was nice. My wife said the flautas were good. My burrito and tostada were a bit bland but the rice with carrots, peas, and lima beans was good. Chips were solid and salsa was OK.
Food was eh.
Susanita’s opened where Julio’s used to be on FM2920! Finally, some wonderful Mexican food! It’s been years since anyone has opened a great Mexican restaurant there! We’ve been there twice in a week’s time. The food is fantastic! The first time we tried their fajitas! Tender pork that fell apart! They had chorizo on their fajita plate, and that was incredible!
I tried the chicken mole today and it did not disappoint! I’m very picky about my mole and if you are too, you will love theirs! It is sweet yet spicy with just the right amount of cocoa! Their drinks look amazing and can’t wait to try!
The service staff was great. The atmosphere is not so good. It’s just a plain Jane Mexican restaurant. The food was so so four of us ate there and it was like a 50-50.
Absolutely in love! New management is awesome! Great family atmosphere, great food, great drinks!
me and my family went on a Sunday night, thinking we were going to a "julios", the name of the restaurant is still Julios and the menus as well. so in the manu says that kids eat free on Sundays but then the waitress said that they're no longer a "julios" restaurant, that they are now "Susanitas" restaurant (even though they're still using julios menus) so the promotion wasn't valid. that's one thing. then there was a hair in my food wrapped in the cheese of my tacos, they changed my plate and didn't charge for it so I couldn't enjoy it anymore thinking how the kitchen is working.

I enjoyed the Birria Tacos on the Lunch Menu. You get 3 tacos and consume for 12.99. Oh by the way Mondays are “Margarita Mondays” $4 for regular and 6 for a large!
My wife and I come here on Tuesdays quite a bit. Every Tuesday any taco dish is only $7. That’s one helluva deal. Most dishes come with rice and beans too. Chips are good, green salsa is really good. I get the al pastor street tacos on corn tortillas. The star of the show is their mangonada drink with tajin on the rim. It’s amazing! Excellent service as well

This is not julios anymore, it's susanitas. And the menu and prices have changed, the food tastes cheaper but they charge more. They hover over your table far too much, and overall it was mediocre at best compared to when it was julios. I got the chicken enchiladas and they were covered in a cheap cheese sauce when last time they had real melted cheese, also barely any chicken filling. They charge 20.99 for fajitas for 1 when last time was 17.99. Don't bother with this place anymore, really a shame

This restaurant was sold and is no longer Julios. Different menu. Good service, but our favorites were no longer on the new restaurants menu.
