This is a quintessential Indian “mess”-style place unlike anywhere in north Houston. Most authentic vegetarian servings! We as a family love to get a take out or dine-in every so often.

Delicious fresh food. Had a vegetarian Thali, was very impressed. Saag Paneer was awesome, dal was tasty. Have a choice of handmade roti with ghee or puri. Ordered a Mysore dosa. Was great. Highly recommend.

Tea was WORST . Tea seems to be prepared in biryani utensil, complete biryani smell . I never had any drink like this tea. Smell very bad,not an Indian taste at all
Dear Management,
I am a frequent takeout customer and have always enjoyed your food—especially the dabeli, which has become a staple for me. It’s rare to find such good vegetarian food in North Houston, and with my family visiting from India soon, I had been looking forward to bringing them here.
Because of this, I was very disappointed by the experience I had on Friday, 8/22. While my visit the previous day (8/21) was excellent, with great food and attentive service, the following day was the opposite. I came to have my last meal before starting my fast, and the server completely ruined the experience.
I ordered dhokla and dabeli as appetizers, pav bhaji for my entrée, and dal tadka for my wife. Instead, the pav bhaji came out immediately, before any appetizers, and then a vada pav was brought out by mistake. When I pointed this out, the server insisted that I had ordered it. After some back and forth, he finally agreed to correct it, but by this time my pav bhaji was getting cold while my wife still had no food.
We were the only customers dining in at this point, yet we watched takeout orders being filled while we continued to wait. He failed to communicate the issue with the back of house. More than 20 minutes passed without receiving the dabeli or the dal tadka. When I approached the counter to ask, the employee became argumentative rather than helpful, insisting that the only mistake was the appetizer and that it takes time to make the food. He even made it a point to say that sometimes entrees will come out before appetizers. Even when the dabeli eventually came out, the dal tadka still hadn’t arrived—25+ minutes after my entrée had been served to me while my wife still sat there waiting.
At that point, I no longer wanted to continue the meal and requested a refund. Instead of handling it professionally, the employee argued over which items could be refunded. I was willing to pay for the drinks and dhokla we had already received, but he continued to dispute the dal tadka...which he somehow still failed to realize that it still had not come out…25+min later.
The entire interaction left me disappointed—not only because of the service delays, but because of the dismissive and argumentative attitude of the staff member. Dining out is about sharing a meal together, not eating courses 30 minutes apart. Bombay street food should not take 30min to prepare.
I truly hope this was an isolated incident with one staff member, as I have had consistently positive experiences before. I attempted to reach out to the email address listed on your website but the emails bounce. I also tried to call in but the days that I do, that server is working.

We tried the sampler plate and a few other items. I don’t eat a lot of Indian food but I think this place was nice and clean and the food is delicious. I will go there again.

Good street food options. I liked the bhel puri, sev puri, vada pav but didn’t like the samosa aloo and pav bhaji so options can be hit or miss
Tried Khau Gully recently and really loved it! The food was full of flavor and tasted super fresh. The vibe was nice and cozy, and the service was great too. Definitely going back to try more dishes!
