Was with two colleagues, one from Monterey Mexico, found LA Canoa by chance. It was the best place I had eaten all week. Small unassuming place, excellent food and service. Even my friend from Monterey was highly impressed. I have found my new go to spot when I am in Houston

This place is so nasty I had the canoa plate I think that’s what is called n nothing had no flavor at all the drinks taste so sour so I returned it back , took the food to go and gave it to a homeless person he even said this food is so nasty ..this place needs a new cook and flavor added as well , never coming back , shut this place down I don’t know why is till in business..disgusting 🤮

I have been here in the past and the food seem ok tried again and not so good the waiter was nice but took very long to take order and give our drink the drink was extremely spur and my stomach hurt after I order fried rice with had no flavor and was just meat and onions no egg nothing the nachos were really good but when I asked my Pico they stated they would have to charge me definitely not the experience I was hoping for probably won't return.

They never disappoint! This is definitely my favorite Mexican restaurant in spring! The food is beyond delicious.. The service is excellent and the atmosphere is quite unique!

A multicultural restaurant in Spring! I loved the service specially of waitress Cinthia, super-friendly and attent to our table. I asked for the mangonada, which it is delicious with or without licor 😌. The tostones are perfect, but the best was that since Cinthia understood my vegetarian request the cook could prepare the perfect option for me 💚. Kudos for Cinthia!!!!The atmosphere is very quiet and nice in the afternoon, but if you want more party you better go on nights! You must go 🫵

Some of the most authentic Mexican food restaurants that I have tried to date! The cuisine is based from Guerrero Mexico and it is spot on from what I remembered. The seafood is to die for at least in my opinion.

This is a good place for dinner time, food is delicious and prices are fair. The people are very nice. I love the drinks simply are awesome 🤩🍹

Says they close at 12 but always closes early. The don’t answer phone at certain time and even though door is unlocked and they are there they tell you they are closed stand by door until 12 and then they lock. I work late at was looking forward to this and it’s happening on a regular
