This place has the worst customer service I have ever seen. My mother had gotten a cake from them before and told me to come here for my wedding cake as well as our grooms cake. When I first called to make an appointment I was told I would get a call back to schedule an appointment. When they called back I missed the call but returned it soon after. When I called back the woman who answered the phone said they would get the owner to call me but I "shouldn't expect a call back any time soon." Well, they were right. It has now been a month since I was told that and I never got a call back. We are very disappointed in the lack of decent customer service.

We ordered a cake for my daughter's birthday. It was so cute and really delicious! We got lots of compliments on it. This will definitely be our go to bakery from now on. The staff was also very helpful and friendly.

We love this bakery, they did my baby shower and 1st birthday cake for my boy. We tried all the flavors and by far our favorite was the marble. The strawberry was a close runner up. The ladies did a great job decorating, all 3 cakes I ordered turned out wonderful!

We got an 80th Birthday cake there yesterday Feb.2, 2019, for a party of 45. We were shocked at the appearance of the cake, how it was so poorly decorated, and when the cake was served it tasted horrible. It was dry, the filling was not good, sour tasting. What a horrible experience as well as an embarrassment. I would not recommend this place to noone. Do yourself a favor and order your cake some where else. My sons Birthday cake from HEB was way better than Lindys. Very, very upset.

Lindy and her team treated me so well when we got married that we decided to ask them to re-create our wedding cake for our 10th wedding anniversary party. It was perfect, exactly what we asked for, and delicious!

I found you!!!!! 12 years ago you made the most AMAZING groom's cake for my wedding and completely stole the show! We had to send the wedding coordinator over to snag us a piece before it was all gone! Workers were even scraping up the frosting and chocolate drizzle after the ceremony to get a taste. Since then, we've moved 4xs, but now we're back in Texas. My husband still talks about that delicious cake! I'm going to be ordering a small one for his birthday next month! Hooray!

Since then I've ordered several cakes & never disappointed. My favorite is white with raspberry filing & Cream Cheese Icing. Each year for our Anniversary, I order a 6" cake and never disappointed. I love the cake balls as you cake try all the types of cakes they make. The staff is awesome, Lyndy is so sweet, talented, personable & the cakes are out of this world. Thanks Lyndy & Staff for making our Wedding & Grooms' Cake & our traditional Anniversary Cake--it means so much to us!!!! You cannot go wrong when you order from here. Lynne you never steered us wrong with your recommendations. Almost 3 years since we got married at Shady Oaks, friends & relatives still talking how beautiful the place is & great time we ALL had.
