The portion of bbq on the sandwich was very disappointing compared to the amount of bread.... this is texas wheres the meat... maybe 3/4 inch of bbq on a 3 inch bun... not acceptable for $11. also to be told that there is no cheese... so no nachos , no mac and cheese . .. basically everything I was looking forward to for a while I couldnt have. The guy working the window didnt seem very happy with the menu available. Definitely NOT what the fb page showed.

This place serves hands down some of the most juicy Texas style BBQ and it's halal, so certainly adds to the appeal for a wider audience. Their sandwiches pretty much melt in the mouth as the sauce is paired almost perfectly with the juicy brisket and smoked chicken atop a soft challa bun. But as tasty as the food is, service tanks hard in the opposite direction. They've got it all wrong on the service side: the cashier has no idea how to ring up customers and there's a massive communication breakdown between the cashier and manager/customers. To compound the issue, waiting times are long on the weekends and they overcharge the heck out of you. I requested combo meat on my sandwich and got charged nearly $15, which is over a $1 more than even their most expensive loaded brisket sandwich on the menu. Yet, when I asked the guy to include coleslaw on my sandwich, he started asking for a further upcharge. That's simply poor business judgment and an easy way to lose a customer who would've otherwise become a potential regular. All told, three stars about does it.

Lit BBQ was the favorite among three different caterers at Iftaar by far. Had some logistical problems but they are willing to work it out and I was able to get their delicious food at my house. Brisket tacos were a hit but please order more than you think you will need, No left overs to enjoy the next day for sehri

Well I can't complain, they were set up in Eado at the truck yard. I was hungry and every other place was out of chicken so why not. I got the 3 chicken tacos for a little over 10 dollars. You know what they were delicious. The sauce was good and the meat was tender. I would definitely recommend!

Most delicious bbq I've had in Houston And yes I've been everywhere! Brisket is so moist you wanna slap ya mama Ribs so good I'm never going back to Killens My friends told me it's Halal too which I think means the meat quality is better. Good work!!! Affordable, delicious.
The Greek Taco is my favorite. Had my extended family try several of these tacos and they were overwhelmed with joy and comfort.

Definitely a treat for us north side folks! There is no other halal/zabiha tacos and barbecue place on the north side, so when I heard about their Louetta location, I had to try them. And everything was delicious! We got the brisket tacos and quesadilla. Full of flavor and tasted more authentic than other Mexican restaurants. Keep up the great work! We will be back!
