I am not crazy about the food. Don't get me wrong it's good, I honestly think I may be a little too picky when it comes to traditional Mexican dishes. My boyfriend thinks it's because I am not ordering the right things- every place has its niche. He swears by the Fajitas. The Fajitas for 1 or 2 to clarify, apparently they are different that what is used for enchiladas/quesadillas. We frequent here because it is close to home.

This feels like every cozy comfy Mexican restaurant you visit with your family in town. Like the Mexican restaurant you loved in 2005 (in the best way) and had no idea you missed. This restaurant was phenomenal. The food was on point, well seasoned, well cooked - hell, I would have eaten just the plain rice for a meal. It was so good!

Los Generales is a great place if you want great food and service. I typically have their street tacos with some extra spice and they are the best. If you request some great tasting extra spicy salsa, they have it. I will occasionally eat their Shrimp and Beef Fajitas. They are incredible.
