I stopped by Main Bird Hot Chicken recently and the food definitely delivered. The chicken had great seasoning, the crunch was on point, and everything tasted like it had just come out of the fryer. If you're a fan of spicy food, you’ll be right at home here.
The overall experience was a bit hard to enjoy fully. It felt like the AC was either broken or just not on, and the place was uncomfortably warm. When you're already sweating from the heat level of the chicken, adding a hot, stuffy dining room to the mix makes things a bit much. I found myself more focused on wiping sweat than savoring the flavors.
Bottom line: the food is solid and worth trying, but maybe opt for takeout unless the air is working — or unless you're trying to sweat out your sins with every bite.

From the moment I walked Through the door IzaBella was super chill and very hospitable. The basket that I ordered was crazy good I would be visiting this location again very soon.

I tried the dirty mac and chose hot level. It was very delicious. The seasoning on the chicken hit the spot. I only wish it had a little more chicken in it. Next time I will order an additional tender to add to it. Overall great experience and will be back.

Black short dude has one of the worst attitude of all since you come in through the door until you leave, I came in to pick up an order he told me was ready. I asked how long till it was ready, which he repeatedly told me don’t rush Us which I replied with, I’m not rushing. I just wanna estimate time of when the order will be ready. He proceeded to ignore me went to a different customer and then proceeded to stare at me for like a minute or two and tell me you cannot be rushing the process if you want a good quality food you gotta wait the time and at this point I was already annoyed so I said I’m not rushing nothing I’m just asking you for an estimate time Well, I was still Talking to him, he walked away to the back to talk about me to the kitchen, ladies like if I couldn’t hear them not to mention, it took him 30 minutes to get the shake out mind you he wasn’t doing anything but talking to the kitchen ladies and just sitting in the front doing nothing AnyWho worst customer service if he’s there, I will not be coming in

The black girl working at the register did not want to give me my food, i ordered online to pick it up while on lunch break and when i ordered there was no issue of any kind, but when I arrived the lady said they were out of fries and wanted me to cancel my order but if i did i got no refund and wasted my time. I asked for substitution for the fries but was declined and asked to cancel the order again. Very rude service and the back kitchen never even prepared the food to begin with, so when i agree to just get whatever i ordered without the fries, they did not even have it ready so I had to wait an extra 15 mins to get my food while on lunch break. Kind of defeats the purpose of ordering online if I have to wait 15 mins to get my food when I arrive. On top of the service, the chicken was slightly burned with the wrong spice level. I would suggest anyone trying to eat here to go to a different location.

Garret has an aura of bad attitude the moment you walk through the door, it’s like he’s too bothered to help you. Asked about a shake and he said they were “out” but come to find out he’s the one making them. Seems like he just didn’t want to do a more complicated one. He then brought a shake out to me with a big huff when i thanked him. He also left in a hurry chasing after his girl leaving no one to call out my order and making me wait an extra 15 minutes in an unkempt and uncomfortably hot lobby. Took another 5 minutes of eye contact with other employees before someone decided to help.
The food’s alright, would be better if it was actually warm and fresh like it should’ve been.

I used to be obsessed with main bird, but the quality of the food has changed recently. My fries today tasted stale and there was barely any chicken on them. The container size shrunk by 1/2 too, even though it still costs the same.

I had a disappointing experience at this location. When I walked in to place my order, a staff member—who was a heavier-set woman with dreads—immediately shouted “PICK UP OR DELIVERY?” at me, which felt abrupt and unwelcoming.
While placing my order, I realized I forgot to add a drink and politely asked if I could just purchase a small cup. Her response was, “Ring it up on the screen,” and she continued a conversation with a coworker right in front of me, completely ignoring my presence.
Later, when our food was almost ready, she called out to me and my boyfriend in a loud and disrespectful manner: “HELLO, HELLO, HELLO, Y’ALLS FOOD WILL BE OUT IN A FEW MINUTES.” A simple “excuse me” or a more polite approach would have gone a long way. She also had AirPods in the entire time, which made the interaction feel even more disconnected and dismissive.
Unfortunately, this level of customer service made us feel so uncomfortable that we decided to take our food to go and eat elsewhere. What does it really cost to be kind and respectful to customers?
I hope management addresses this behavior. We won’t be returning to this location.

There was a bigger black lady with airpods in the whole time who was screaming the entire time about her life/work issues to her employees, when our food was ready we didn't know that she called us at first because she had been screaming. She proceeded to scream HELLO!!HELLO!!HELLO!! just to snap at us our food will be out in 5 minutes. This employee needs to be dealt with and this place will be amazing.

I was standing at the counter for at least 5 minutes before some one ask how may I help you. literally making eye contact while walking past me. Just sad customer service Attitudes and all. Food is decent a little overpriced for some chicken strips if you ask me. But each its own
