We went to Palette Indian Kitchen for lunch during the week and the first thing that we noticed after entering was all of the delightful aromas that filled the restaurant. We knew immediately that we were in for a treat. Since it was our first time, we opted for the buffet so that we could try a variety of their dishes. Of the many things we tried, all were very flavorful and delicious. It is not unusual for a restaurant buffet to focus more on quantity than quality, but this was not the case at Palette. The plentiful buffet items were of a quality that one would expect if ordering off of the menu. We finished lunch with what I was told was their “famous” bread pudding–fame which we discovered was well deserved. Service and friendliness of the owners and staff were of the same high quality as the food. Prices were very reasonable and well worth the quality and tastiness of the food. Although a bit off of the beaten track from our home in The Woodlands, it was well worth the journey and we look forward to returning soon.

Food is very good. Atmosphere is fine but I would have liked more help figuring out what to order.

Flavor galore!! Dishes made from scratch, fresh, full of flavor, exquisite seasoning. The cauliflower appetizer is not to be missed. All our meals here were great, even for plant eaters plenty to choose from. Highly recommended. Lucky if you live in the neighborhood 😁

Not only was the food bursting with layers of flavor, but the service was top notch. Our waiter Felix was super friendly, and other staff members came by to make sure we were good and answered any questions we had. Everyone made us feel so welcomed. I hope more people go visit this gem and experience it for themselves. This is definitely a place I will be visiting again and again!

Tried Popsicle Chicken and Goat Biryani at Palette Indian today and honestly, the service was fantastic. Super warm, attentive, and professional… really appreciated that!

The food was good, but having lived in Toronto, Canada (where the Indian food scene is unbelievably strong), it’s always tough to find that same level elsewhere. In Texas so far, the Indian spots I tried around downtown Houston, Katy and Sugar Land definitely came close and reminded me a bit of Toronto quality.

Still exploring places around here, hoping to find those truly standout Toronto-level flavors in The Woodlands area soon.

Absolutely amazing service. Food 10 out of 10. The guys were so attentive and I felt like they went above and beyond. I’m leaving this review as I’m eating.

Solid food, but if you're brown skinned just expect to have preferential treatment for lighter skinned people over you.

Others requested a take out box during buffet hours and the server acquiesced. I was regularly going here and wanted to test if he would do the same for me and he clearly said they don't do that for buffet hours as I watched the ones he helped pack their food into their boxes.

It's been about two years now, and I am only just putting this review today since I got a marketing email from them and remembered this key memory that was seared into my brain. I just had to share what I think of whenever I see the name of this place lol. Anyways, good place to go if you're light skinned.

If you're not, they'll still treat you decently, but just remember your place. And no, they did not order single servings during lunch hours. They clearly were going back and forth between the table and the serving area for more food.

The more I think about it the more annoyed I get, but it doesn't matter anyways in the whole scheme of things. No one truly cares.

It's just unfortunate that they have to bring their third world mentality to this country. This restaurant should be called Caste System.

Edit: they said I'm the liar. Well, if they truly believe in the Bible, then they'll also know it's all recorded anyways and will be judged at the end of times when it is read aloud for all to witness and the punishment then is far more severe than a review.

Went here for lunch buffet. The food is excellent. Nice variety, including chicken, lamb, goat and much more. Everything I had was top notch, not bland, but nicely spiced and flavored. It is serve yourself drinks with fountain drinks, tea and more. Weekend lunch buffet is $20 and drinks are a couple bucks. Service was also very good. I do wish they would use real drink glasses instead of plastic, and maybe a little more decorating. Overall, for Indian it's hard to beat on the north side of Houston. I am definitely looking forward to going back.
