Keep going back even though we live more than an hour away. Manager, Paolo, is on top of everything, a true team player that leads by example. Service is uncompromising. The menu is diverse and every dish my family and I have ordered has been consistently prepared to perfection. Delicious, too!

Checked out Phat Eatery last night. To keep things short, im looking forward to next time!
When the gf and I were seated, we were delighted to hear that they make dim sum on Sundays. Naturally, we had to get a handful! Each one was an explosion of awesome flavor. Along with the dim sum came some sticky and rice mushrooms, which we thought was tasty as well. Textures were nice, rice was slightly sweet and mushrooms tasted good. Took a little while to come out (not a bad thing at all), but the entrees came out even quicker.
I went with their char kway teow. I love rice flat noodles but I love seafood even more. The shrimp and calamari were cooked to perfection. The Chinese sausage and bean sprouts were delicious as well.
Gf decided to try the nasi lemak. The richness of the curry chicken was greatly accompanied by some peanuts and dried anchovies. Truly a tantalizing experience for your taste buds.
Overall, everything was spectacular and the food tasted very comforting. I recommend trying their Thai beer as it was a great accompaniment to both dishes as it was the most light and crisp brew Ive had. Staff was attentive and friendly, server Amber took great care of us. Check this place out, you won't regret it.

Malaysian Chicken Curry and Satay are good dishes to try. The Curry Laksa wasn't as enjoyable. Didn't try the beef rendang.

We decided to try Phat Eatery for takeout, but overall it was a mixed experience.

The Hokkien Mee was disappointing — it didn’t have the signature wok hei (that smoky aroma), and all I could really taste was soy sauce. It’s definitely not the authentic Malaysian-style Hokkien Mee I was expecting, though they were generous with the amount of meat and seafood.

The Nasi Lemak with Curry Chicken also fell short. The rice was quite bland, and the sambal leaned sour rather than spicy or savory. The curry chicken was good, but it felt like the sauce didn’t really seep into the chicken.

The Char Kuey Teow was decent in flavor, but the type of kuey teow used was slightly thicker and coarser than what we usually have in Malaysia.

On a positive note, the ambience at the restaurant is nice, and the staff were friendly and attentive.

It is hard to find authentic Malaysian/Singaporean food in the Woodlands, but this place was AMAZING! The Hainanese chicken rice and kway teow were so good. I would definitely recommend!

Good food but not explosive in flavor as true street food is in Malaysia. Good service, great atmosphere; however, pricey for it being regular street food - nothing fancy, Overall spent $40 per person, including two non-alcoholic drinks, and a beer. Ordered Roti Canai (plus add-on Roti) with Curry Sauce, Mee Goreng, Beef Rendang, and Tofu in Sizzling Pepper Sauce. Drinks and food arrived promptly - tastes and quantities were on point, although flavors were quite a bit muted as compared to the street fare on offer in Malaysia. Spice levels went from 1-5; ordered level 3-Thai spicy, which was just right. All in all a good Sunday late-lunch family outing - set us back $120+, though, including tax and tip! As I said, pricey….

I would give this place 6 stars if I could. The food is incredible. The Roti Canai, the Beef Rendang, and Curry Laksa, the Billionaire Fried Rice, the Sweet Basil Beef. Everything we’ve ever tried here has been amazing. And the atmosphere is so unique. This is a real gem in The Woodlands.

Pleasant staff.
Food here is not the same as Katy. (Although, I’ve only eaten at the Katy location when owner/lchef Alex Au-Yeung was alive.)
I don’t remember any of our dishes tasting like this previously.
The cocktail was delicious.
