Had a nice time, wasn’t busy as it was in early afternoon. But service was great, and the food and drinks were excellent! Had a salad with steak and shrimp, superb!

We usually visit Puffabelly's for lunch. The Depot salad is delicious. The servers are friendly and efficient. It's our favorite restaurant in Old Town Spring.

I've been to Puffabelly's a few times now and also enjoy the food! The chicken friend chicken is really good and the prices seem reasonable. It's a fun spot for walking around Old Town Spring. I have found that the staff is almost too good in the sense that it has felt rushed ordering and closing out despite the restaurant being not overly crowded by any means. Puffabelly's has an old timey charm (which is clearly what they're aiming for).
The food was way overpriced. What used to cost you $12 is now $21-$24 but same serving sizes or less. I understand things are all going up and agree a few dollars more would have been enough but a 50% increase with a 20% decrease in food quality doesn’t add up. Food is just okay and the baked potatoes are almost over done and dry. The smothered patty was ok and only one small one. You use to get that meal for $12 and it was a thick hamburger Patty with a big scoop of mashed potatoes. It used to be delicious and well worth the money you spent. They also used to have the tasty rolls that they would bring out to you with butter; however, they no longer have those. Which sucks. I also did not see any peanuts which to me took away from the fun part of the atmosphere. Even the appetizer prices are way up and with the prices of the dishes it makes it hard to enjoy a nice appetizer. The upgrades to the place are nice and so I guess the people are the ones having to help pay for that but honestly I don’t think we will be back. It just really wasn’t worth it.
If you live near spring it's a must that you visit this place
I promise you won't regret it

Haven't been here in years, but it is not what I remember. The food didn't have much flavor. Most of the train stuff is gone. The band was really loud. (6/5/25)
Trinity was my waitress was very sweet I Like the new changes bands on weekends & outside patio now.
One of my favorite lunch places.

Overall, I don't recommend. For the price of two horrible drinks at Puffbelly's, I paid for lunch for three people at a much better restaurant earlier the same day.
Went on Saturday around 7:30. First, when we arrived we were told there was a wait, which is fine as places get busy but the way we were told by the staff member was strange. It seemed as if they didn't want us to stay. I thought it was my own imagination but then my date actually said right after, "I don't think they want us here."
We were seated some time later. About five or six minutes later a server came by to take our drink order. Cool. About ten minutes later, we get our drinks. I ordered a Long Island and can honestly say it was the worst one I ever had. (Once I was at a movie theater and was curious about how they made their drinks. I thought that was the worst one I ever had but found out different today)
Then we tried to order and found they didn't have some of the items on the menu. At this point we decided it wasn't for us and asked for the bill. Can honestly say that lunch today for three people was cheaper than two drinks here.
I will say, don't blame our waitress. It was clear she was overworked. She was friendly and nice but overall, I don't recommend this place. Others may love it, and I'm glad that they like it, but we won't be back and will tell others about this experience.

Always heard great reviews but food was mediocre at best. The quesadillas where like i got them up north like in Maine and they didn't know what it was and took a best guess and that was what i got. Baked potatoe was just meh. Kids mac and cheese fine. Oh and our waitress didn't really take care of us, was very absent minded but then again the whole staff was on their phone, yeah i understand it was slow but i was always taught to keep busy or in this case take care of the customers.
Kid-friendliness: Not really more a bar atmosphere
