We took a stroll around Old Town Spring to get my Mom out for the day. Got a hankering for some fried green tomatoes and remembered this place having them. Sat on the patio and got the sampler. Delicious and would highly recommend. Also the best fried pickles I have had in the area hands down....lightly breaded and not salty at all. Perfection!

They went above and beyond to make our party of 18 feel welcomed despite an online reservation glitch that kept them there after hours. Food was great. Staff was great. Atmosphere was great. Would recommend to anyone wanting to dine in OTS. Thank you for the hospitality. We will be back.

**Disappointing and Unsafe Experience – Avoid if Dining with Young Children** *1 Star*
We visited this restaurant in Old Town Spring expecting a family-friendly spot in a town that markets itself as a wholesome attraction. What we got was a complete disregard for families with toddlers.
They had no high chairs—not one. When we asked, the staff returned with a grimy booster seat whose strap was broken. It wouldn’t tighten, wouldn’t secure to the chair, and slid around dangerously. Our 13-month-old could have easily slipped out and fallen. We had no choice but to leave.
We’ve eaten at diners in small-town Kansas, BBQ joints in Austin, and seafood shacks on the Gulf Coast—**every single one had a functional high chair**. This place couldn’t even manage a safe booster. The indifference was palpable; we felt like an inconvenience for having a child.
Old Town Spring wants families to visit, but this restaurant clearly doesn’t want our business. **Skip it** if you’re traveling with little ones—your safety (and sanity) isn’t worth the risk.

Me and my family have been going here for as long as I can remember. My favorite things to order are the puffapeppers and chicken friend steak. This time was a little disappointing since I got no gravy for my chicken fried steak and the puffapeppers had no filling in it just the outside breading and I jalapeño but no cheese.. not sure what happened but when I called they didn't sound intrested in fixing this mistake..
Cheese fries were too oily. Chili had burnt bacon and baked potatoe was over cooked. We had a very good experience before but yesterday Nov 1, 2025 the food was awful.

Had the shrimp platter, you can get it fried or grilled. I got it fried and it was amazing. Their appetizers are great also, had the fried pickles and onion rings. The location is pretty cool also.
