It's closing this week in the Woodlands. They will tear down the building. Go now enjoy before they don't exist!

Macaroni grill was a great disappointment. I visited the one in Miami and that was a great place. But this place it was awful, awful awful. The food was horrible. The service was definitely third class but pleasant. It would be a waste of your money to go there.

We ate dinner here twice during our week stay at Waikoloa Village. Obviously, we were so impressed with the food quality, service, and value, we came back a second night. We did have a meal at the Nui Italian at the Hilton Waikoloa, and we thought the Macaroni Grill was twice as good at half the price. Well done Romano’s Macaroni Grill!

TLDR - Do yourself a favor & go anywhere else.We arrived to an empty parking lot. This should have been a clue that we were about to make a huge mistake. We walked into a completely empty restaurant. I’m not kidding. There was not a single human soul visible. We yelled out “Hello? Are you open?” This was our second chance to turn around & go anywhere else.We stuck it out & we were seated as the only patrons in the entire restaurant right next to the bathrooms. Not a single employee wore a uniform. There were random people that would walk around the restaurant in street clothes who were clearly not diners. This was one of the most bizarre dining experiences of our lives. The very overpriced food was terrible all around. This entire visit had zero redeeming qualities.PSA, if you walk into an empty restaurant, there’s usually a reason why. Turn around & run!

Food was rather bland but the staff was good. If you want simple Italian it’ll be fine but nothing to write home about.

TRUFFLE MAC & CHEESE all the way! I'll be dreaming about this dish for years to come. Macaroni and cheese meets truffle fries. if you're a fan of either or both, this is definitely a dish for you. It comes with penne pasta, delicious cheese, and breadcrumbs on top. We got a house wine for the table and it was hugeeeee and $25. Def recommend but you'll need to share! The chocolate cake was a heavenly dessert as well. So rich (but not overly) and a good portion to share!!

The food is good but I hate the paper they put on top of the tablecloths. It feels cheap and it's noisy.

Below you will see a review written 5 years ago. I did love their meatball and spegetti. Our last visit revealed a big change. The meatballs were the kind sold at Kroger frozen. Actually, the Kroger ones were better. The red sauce was watery lacking flavor like a watered down off the shelf bottle. Even the bread was different. My wife's meal was also sub par. It had been around a year since our last visit. How things have changed to fight inflation and labor costs. This is a great place to go for a well prepared meal. The atmosphere is casual but not too much so. We have eaten there many times and never had an entre that wasn't fantastic. Their freshly made bread is super.

I used to come here pretty often. It's changed a lot over the years. Service has gone downhill and food no longer impresses me. Let week I ordered a simple Mac and cheese. Didn't get my bread and My Mac was so runny and disappointing. I know the box may have added some water but that wouldn't have accounted for the flavor. I ate a few bites and disposed of my lunch.

Was hoping to have a nice Christmas dinner with family. This place sucks!! Not one employee says happy holidays, merry Christmas, nothing. Waiter did not even want to be there and displayed that clearly. Took for ever to get food. My wives food came out cold. Manager took no accountability. Gave 25% off ticket but then charged for 3 wines each for two people when in fact we order only two each. Will not ever eat there again like ever never. Merry Christmas fellow community members.
