Food was good ordered the potato and it was to dry for me but the meat tasted awesome. Maybe a sandwich next time. I also was not happy that they dont sell meat plates its by weight. Or in a potato or sandwich

I'm new to Texas, and I've been to a bunch of barbecue places, and this is the best one everybody else. It really doesn't have very much flavor and something is always missing from their stuff, but rudy's is always on point. Well, their potato salad is not the greatest, but everything else is fire..

This was the first time for my real estate partner after me repeatly asking him to try it, the young lady taking the order was pleasant, we had a great time with her. The food was Awesome expect the chicken was just a little too dry. Otherwise Ruby's is just great!!!

I really wanted to eat brisket but it didn’t taste like I thought. The potato tasted old. I had a Togo order so maybe that is why but I honestly don’t think I’ll ordered again from here.

This place has absolutely, some of the best Moist Brisket Ends. Super moist, well seasoned and worth the drive to Houston. I purchased the Moist Brisket and 1lb. of Baby Back Ribs as well as some corn and Banana Pudding (didn't care for the pudding) but everything else was fine.

Uninspiring and underwhelming.

We ordered moist brisket, confirmed twice by cashier, then were given shoe leather tough lean. Took it back, got “moist” but still very not tender meat.

The jalapeño cheddar sausage was quite good. I’d be happy to eat that again.

The cole slaw lacked any flavor at all, was basically wet, chopped up cabbage.

The new potatoes were ok.

The green chili stew was decent.

Tell me this is an anomaly and not what locals hype so much.

Delicious BBQ.

Service was quick and meat was fresh. Had the Sausages, fatty Brisket, and pork ribs for mains. Cream corn and coleslaw were great sides.

Great place for lunch. No line and was easy to self-serve drinks, pickles and onions.

BBQ sauce at the table had a nice kick and was a good way to switch up flavor profiles.

Would come back the next time that I am in the Houston area.
