Could be so good, but needs a lot of work to get there.
1. We dined in and the menus which were handed to us were sticky and disgusting. We sat down at noon on a Saturday with only one other customer in the restaurant so I assume they were dirty from the day before.
2. Similar comment on the restrooms. We had to be one of the first customers of the day, but the restrooms looked like 9pm on a Friday night. Trash overflowing and dirty.
3. Our waitress literally seemed like someone who just walked into the restaurant for the first time. She had no idea what she was doing. Shame on management. I had to tell her what to press on her device to get our order correct.
4. We were one of two customers in the restaurant. They were not busy. Our Buffalo Hot chicken wings came out with BBQ after waiting 20 minutes for them. They remade them correctly 20 minutes later.
5. Pretty warm and stuffy in the restaurant.
6. Pizza, wings, and salad were solid!

You will break a sweat here eating! Maybe it's the design of the place but it's too hot to have customers in there. No one wore a hair net omg. Some staff not in uniform with sagging pants...come on bro. No one wants to see your boxer briefs while they are sweating trying to eat pizza. Lol. Won't be back!!

Dropped by for lunch to satisfy my craving for a New York pizza. First, my brother in law had to ask for another chair because of something spilled and not cleaned up. I had ordered a large build your own with seven additional toppings including extra cheese. The pizza was tasty but not quite as I remember when i grew up in NY. The cheese didn't have melt that I remember but nonetheless was good.
The kicker was when i recv'd the tab and was sticker shocked when i saw the bill to be $50. That was for one pizza, one soft drink and one water.
I was wondering why there was nobody in the resturant at lunchtime. I think the pizza was extremely overpriced and doubt I'll be rushing back to eat there.

I have been going to the Russos in Kingwood for a while and has always loved the food there but today I tried the one on kuykendahl and grand parkway location and was so disappointed. It was nothing like I had before. I got my usually chicken parm and sauce was very bland, chicken was overcooked and had way too much cheese, my daughter wanted the chicken fettuccine and said it tasted bland and burnt. I don’t think I will be back to eat there again unless they change the way they cook their food.

Russo's is always clean and the staff is always friendly and helpful. The NY style pizza is yummy - it's the crust that keeps me coming back. More than just pizza - they have tasty salads and NY bakery desserts. The arugula salad has a wonderfully refreshing lemon + olive oil dressing. It's the perfect summer salad. We'll be coming back to try more items on the menu!
