This store violates state health codes. There is an employee who works with his hair in his face and it hovers over the food he makes. While making food he wears headphones; so, if a customer asks him something, he doesn’t respond. Additionally, he has long fingernails and I saw some dirt under a few nails as he was closing the lid on my smoothie.
The Texas Food Establishment Rules (TFER) address fingernail hygiene for food employees to prevent contamination. According to TFER §228.38(b), food employees are required to keep their fingernails trimmed, filed, and maintained so the edges and surfaces are cleanable and not rough. This practice minimizes the risk of transmitting pathogens from hands to food.
In Texas, the regulation requiring food industry employees, such as those working in smoothie shops, to keep their hair restrained is outlined in the Texas Food Establishment Rules (TFER). Specifically, TFER §228.43 mandates that food employees wear hair restraints designed to effectively prevent hair from contacting exposed food, clean equipment, utensils, linens, and unwrapped single-service or single-use articles.
I’ve also read previous poor reviews about this same employee. It seems like it might be time to let him go, as he is causing health code violations and risks.

Customer service is horrible . They don’t greet you , when you ready to order they don’t say anything but look at you . The young man have earphones on his ear while taking orders, he has a bad attitude and he just throws the drink down . You guys have the wrong people working there .

Came to order an açaí bowl at 7:20. Girl working said they didnt serve it anymore It’s 7:20 you close at 8:45 and you didn’t want to make it? Bad customer service why even advertise it if you’re not going to sell it to the customer.

Place an order on Sunday system was down was told I will get a refund never showed up on my account and their number is out of service too I doubt that the manager went through every order to process refunds that morning and it shows complete when I never received it

Bad, bad disgusting. I hope the blender is cleaner than the floor and the bathroom. The girls making my smoothie had attitude like I had to bother them from texting the nerve of me coming into the store and making them work. This used to be a good store, the owner he is a cool guy however he just can’t seem to hire good help. I keep on coming back, hoping for a good staff, but I have had to endure shakes with powder in it rotten fruit servers with hair in their eyes, and marijuana where that place smells like marijuana , bad service all over it’s just a concept Smoothie King it’s a franchise if you’re gonna buy the franchise at least get it right it’s really not brain surgery putting stuff in a blender so disappointed I keep on going back for punishment. You guys will get it right and hire someone that cares. This is disgusting. I want my money back.

This facility used to offer a bathroom for its customers. Now they have a sign on the door saying “Employees Only!!”. They apparently do not care enough about their customers basic bodily functions to provide the most basic of facilities.

I’m a regular here. From my experience, the portions are good, and everyone is nice, except for someone named Xiomara. I hate to say it but this person has a bad attitude, and made it really unpleasant to be in the place.

Horrible customer service In the afternoon and came on a Sunday at 5 sign said it was open and they refused service.

Usually this place is on point, but whatever shift they had for today 4/3 has no sense of urgency. Didn’t get anyone when they walked in the door either. 10 mins to wait to order and over 10 to just get my order.

This place is outstanding in the morning, horrible in the evening.... morning smoothies are like a heavenly kissed ambrosia.......evening smoothies taste like a watered down icee with sour fruit..... stick to the mornings....
Great smoothies and quick to deliver.
I waited 10 mins at the intercom before order was took and 5 mins for them just to take payment and wait again.
