I love this place! They have the best Lo Mein!
I love, love, LOVE this restaurant. I have lived in WDL for 20 years and JUST NOW found it — but the whole family agrees it’s the best. I’m vegetarian and always looking for something different to try — HELLO SPICY CABBAGE POT ❤️ Good quality ingredients (the broccoli in my fried rice is clearly fresh and perfectly chopped, not previously frozen), not oily, teenagers swear they have the best post stickers they’ve had in their entire life, and my husband NEVER has to spit a piece of icky-meat out into his napkin... it’s almost unfair that it’s so priced so well. Portions aren’t huge, but they are 100% a normal person portion. Please show this business some love — they deserve it!!!
Food was so little for the price. Ordered the shrimp fried rice expecting a plate full to get a small portion where as any other Chinese place would give you more for your money, which they don’t. The egg drop soup had no flavoring at. Tasted like egg whites. Not sure if I would make another trip here. Been trying to find the right Chinese place and so far none is up to par from where I came from.
I'm from NYC so needless to say I'm very partial to Chinese food from NYC. It's been difficult to find the same type of food in the Woodlands but Spicy Cuisine comes pretty close. Their egg rolls are terrific. The fried rice is also excellent even thought the pork is in strips as opposed to the cubes. There are many delicious items on the menu so you can't go wrong. I would like to see more items, like sliced roast pork in sweet sauce (I really miss that) and roast pork egg foo young. I highly recommend Spicy Cuisine
Very delicious food! I asked for rice noodles in my lo mein and they were careful to get gluten free requests right! Will order again:)
This is HANDS DOWN the best chinese food restaurant in the area!! We moved our family here from CA 6 years ago and have tried other chinese restaurants in the Woodlands, only to be disappointed. Last weekend we tried a few dishes from Spicy Cuisine and everything was amazing (and we have 3 very VERY picky kids). This week we tried some new dishes (and some favorites from last week) and were equally blown away! Salt and pepper ribs are my new favorite this week. I don't have pictures of the food because it disappeared so fast. Maybe next time, but DEFINITELY order from this restaurant!
What a great New Year feast from Spicy Cuisine! We need both vegetarian and meat dishes. We ordered many dishes and they were delivered. Everyone was happy.Appetizers: Chicken wings and garlic cucumberVegetarian: Salt and Pepper Tofu, Eggplant with garlic sauce, and Cauliflower PotMeat: Salt and Pepper Shrimp, Cumin Beef, Sichuan Spicy Chicken, and Fish Fillet with PicklesALL are Very delicious! Will definitely order next time!
The main dishes were good, though the heat was less than expected for traditionally spicy dishes. That might be what you're looking for though!Maybe there was a mix up with the sides, but the fried rice left a lot to be desired. It seemed to be white rice that had been covered in soy sauce; no hint of vegetables, egg, or oil.
It has been good experiences with this restaurant until today. The farm chicken tasted like it went rancid before refried. Please improve. I hope it never happens again...Edit: the owner called, apologized and offered a makeup. Based on our good experiences with this restaurant in the past, changing this review back to 4-star. Hope they maintain their high standards in the future!
This place is amazing their tri pepper beef is really good and my girlfriend loves the egg rolls which she’s never liked egg rolls before in her life. She as well loves the chicken lo mein. Portion sizes are solid and it is in my opinion Some of the best Chinese I’ve had.

The wonton soup tasted spoiled. I just sipped the broth and gaged. It was really bad and I’m not that picky at all. The monogolian dish tasted burnt. No flavor. Had to toss it. I spent $40 with DoorDash. What a waste.
We LOVE Spicy Cuisine! It is the BEST Asian delivery we’ve had in the 13+ years we’ve lived in The Woodlands. They have a great menu. Very fresh and well made food. Some of our family fav’s are the spring rolls, Lo mein, Sweet and Sour Chicken, Sweet and Sour Ribs, Sautéed Asparagus, and the several fried rice options... but even when we try new plates we have not been disappointed. They deliver promptly and usually faster than they schedule and are very courteous. We’ve not had any wrong orders, etc. If you like to order in, you will love the easy online ordering. They even give delivery updates as you are waiting. Spicy Cuisine is definitely a favorite at our house!
This was my first time ordering from here and it was so amazing, I ordered online and they called me to let me know that I was outside of their delivery zone but that they were going to deliver it anyway which was so nice of them to do and I really appreciate it. Once I got the food I was even more impressed. My husband and I got the spicy edamame, General tso chicken, Singapore noodles, and green beans and everything was perfect. When I saw how big the pieces of chicken were I thought it was going to be mostly fat like other places but it surprisingly wasn’t! We will be ordering again for sure, but for pick up next time lol!
Delightful, fresh and flavorful food. We have picky eaters and this passed with flying colors. Beef and broccoli, and veggie delight were awesome. Fresh garlic and ginger added the right zest to fresh veggies. This is going to be a weekly for us. Thank you for the wonderful food!!! We are looking forward to trying other dishes.
Spicy Cuisine has a sizable menu and good prices, highly recommend the hot and sour soup and pork egg rolls.
