Came here with the expectations of enjoying and nothing is more disappointing then coming in to a restaurant and wasting your money on mediocre food. To start off, waited in line for a solid 5-8 mins before being attended, and I was not greeted when I was finally attended. Next, the price of the food compared to the portioning was ridiculous. Lastly, my food was cold and just looked like a mess overall. I’ve had better tasting and looking tacos at food trucks.

Let's be clear: you're coming here for authentic Mexican food. This isn't Tex-Mex, where everything is drenched in queso or whatever--this is simple, extremely tasty, well executed tacos, chilaquiles, etc. Breakfast is great, lunch and dinner is great. Tonight is the fourth time we've come and the food is consistent, flavorful, and well-executed. The restaurant is clean and inviting, and the decor is simple. Don't skip the churros and other Mexican desserts--the churros are decadent and perfect every time. Recommended!

This place SMACKS. I’ve gotten the street tacos and the enchiladas verdes and both taste authentic and made with fresh ingredients. I can say that because I’m Mexican. Also the service is very friendly and the food comes out quick.

This is not my first time but today I ate at Taco Inn The Woodlands for lunch and the La Tortuga Cubano (sandwich) was so good! The Churros are also very good.

Read some good stuff about this place, end up disappointed. My husband ordered the arrachera tacos, the meat was overcooked and the tortilla was cold, I had the chilaquiles and well, for $13 I think they could had added a bit more of chicken and less tortilla chips, the churros... well the inside was raw and chewy, asked for Nutella and they gave us Hersey syrup. The service was ok, the ambience... just a bunch of Spanish music.

For those who don't know, Taco Inn is a really good, old Mexican chain everywhere in Mexico. I couldn't believe they opened a branch here ! They did not let me down. Best place for authentic delicious Mexican food. We have been there for breakfast, churros and also had to try the tacos. Everything is outstanding. Authentic Mexican food, not Tex mex. The sauces are perfection, spicy and just like back in Mexico. The enchiladas verdes were so good, and the churros I can't even describe. After searching and searching for tasty Mexican food, and churros that are perfectly cook, just the right amount is sweetness like back home, finally found them. And service and ambience are top notch, all for great price . One of the most enjoyable meals I've had in a long time.

A friend recommended this place to us & it didn't disappoint. The food was great & so was the service. Our server, Eric was very helpful with recommendations as it was our first time & they have some unique options being an authentic Mexican restaurant. The Chilaquiles & Sopes were excellent as were the mini churros, the kids really liked those. It is a bit pricey but for the quality of the food & the service from the staff its worth it in my opinion. We'll definitely be back, want to try the Chicharon de Queso & Volcan.

Fantastic Tacos and sandwiches. The churros are addictive. Great service, it was so nice to have the staff so pleasant and knowledgeable about their restaurant. They explained the menu items after asking us if we had been there before and also told us how the restaurant originated. Highly recommend.

We tried Taco Inn for the first time today for lunch, and we were not disappointed! Service was great, did not feel forgotten. The tacos were so good, and I love that the tortillas did not break! And the cup of churros were a hit! Even took some back to work to share we’ll be back for sure! Thank you!

?? Authentic and real Mexican food!!! Started off with Jamaica and Horchata drinks, then went with the "Los Cinnco" plate. Finished it up with a set of mini churros w/chocolate "Abuelalita" sauce and "Abuelita" hot chocolate. Everything was fantastic and reminded me of the time I lived in Mexico!!! One of the owners, Arlette, came over and chatted with the wife and myself. Such a great experience!!Parking: Parking right in front of store.Wheelchair accessibility: Had a ramp.

I love this place. I’m from Mexico City and this place is the only place in Houston that I can say it’s authentic Mexican tacos. I love breakfast enchiladas y molletes, and for dinner tacos al pastor, campechanos and tortas. Churros are also a must!. Give it a try and you won’t be disappointed. This is my favorite restaurant in Woodlands!
