The staff started changing and service started going down about about 8 months ago.
Not too sure on the new "vibe". There's a sign out front that says 'Ember & Vine coming soon'

We arrived just before 5pm and were the only customers. We were sat on the “dingy” side of the restaurant (it was dingy even for an old house atmosphere). The white linen tables and ambiance lighting was on the other side of the restaurant. We were thankful for the cool air as it is extremely hot outside right now. I guess the ac was not working properly as there was temporary ac setup in the room adding to the poor atmosphere. The charcuterie was ok, nothing great. We went with the expectation of having chicken fried steak. They were out. I ordered the filet with a side of risotto, my husband ordered the braised short rib also with a side of risotto. Our meat was extremely salty, almost inedible. Our waiter really should have advised us one risotto would be enough to share. There is no way, a person could eat an entire order of risotto as a side. Overall, for the experience and what we received, it was way overpriced. I don’t mind paying for a good meal but this was not good. I hope when you reopen things will be different.

The food and service were great!! It was warm in there. I thought it was because I’m a woman of a certain age, but I glistened the whole time not in flashes. I would go back.

Quality has significantly declined here. Don't let the snazzy website fool you.

I absolutely loved this place !! If you want a place where the little ones are free to run around (and are safe during so if you know what I mean ?) , and for you to still feel nice and cool come join the butler house family. I love this place the staff are amazing, the managers will always do what’s needed to make you happy and comfortable. The servers are always so kind and willing to do what’s needed to please you and your family. The cooks have godly hands and will always cook you the best food/ meal for you. This restaurant is always aesthetically pleasing and with a beautiful history added to it. For a date night I recommend the main dining room with the booths when it gets dark a candle is turned on and it’s so relaxing and romantic I love it! The butler house is a beautiful restaurant that has become family
Kid-friendliness: I recommend the covered / in closed patio the little ones are free to run around. There’s tables close to the windows so you can keep an eye on them and watch them play!! The indorse patio is HUGE and always nice and cool. I love bringing my family around and watching the little ones play while still enjoying TV and the outside.
Wheelchair accessibility: The host will always be willing to open the doors for you when you come in and leave. There’s a ramp and no hard bumps that may bother someone with a wheelchair or any disability. The parking lot spaces are at the front of the restaurant for easy access. I love a restaurant that’s inclusive ❤️

Kid-friendliness: There is a turf yard for the kids to run and play on while you enjoy good food and drinks in a covered area
Had the pork chop. Was VERY dry and burned on one side (not supposed to be blackened). Broccoli was burned as well. The water tastes like they got it out of the creek and added bleach. Very disappointed because this WAS a restaurant that we lived to go to

Great experience. Butternut squash bisque was really good and the green beans almondine was excellent. I had the filet which was so tender and seasoned well with the delicious brandy peppercorn cream sauce that comes with it. My husband had the Malbec braised short rib and it was absolutely amazing. Excellent old fashioned with a variety of boubons to choose from and a great expresso martini. Great service with Ernie as well.

Service was good. A bit pricey for the quality of food & flavor. The patio is a much better option than inside, indoor atmosphere could be improved and updated.

We went for a graduation reception. The atmosphere was great, but we didn't have much of the provided food.
