The Toasted Yoke is the best breakfast restaurant in Houston and The Woodlands for anyone wanting a real breakfast đ„ meal đ„. We always go there.
No complaints. Service was friendly and prompt. They checked on us frequently. Food was really good.

Always love it here. Our waitress this most recent time is what helped me actually write a review this time. Michelle was just so sweet and amazing, and I wanted to write a review because she was so great. Me and my little sister came here for breakfast and she just made us feel right at home. Food is always out fast and always amazing.

The food here is exactly the same as everywhere else but cost twice as much for no reason at all
Having a person thumbs up and smile at me while I'm eating does not make this food worth twice as much
It's not organic it's not special it's the same exact crap that Denny serves
I literally ordered 4 eggs grits on the side in a pancake and it was 30$ before the tip
I would have tipped twice as much but those misleading prices put a bad taste in my mouth and honestly ruined the meal

what's sad is I went to do a review and didn't realize that I already had one from years ago that was also terrible. My friend and I have met here 2x in the past year for brunch and both times my friends order was not correct. This past time I ordered 1 pancake and it was not at all cooked all the way. It was so gross. Also, the bathroom was DISGUSTING! I'm not a super picky person but even I just walked out. This place overall has just been a constant disappointment.
Always crowded

Their food is great (highly recommend their cheesy grits). I ordered the chicken fried steak on my last visit and it was very tasty and the portion was giant. Service was great too and has been every timei come.

Great Breakfast Spot for Business or Catching Up!
The Toasty Yolk CafĂ© in Spring, Texas is conveniently located right off 99 with plenty of parkingâalways a plus! What I loved most about this spot was how easy it was to settle in and enjoy a relaxing breakfast while connecting with a friend. We even managed to discuss potential collaborations, and I ended up securing a gig, so now Iâm calling Toasty Yolk my new go-to spot for casual business discussions!
Now, onto the food! Iâm a big fan of green tea, and their tea is fantastic. Itâs not your typical tea bag, but rather real green tea leaves that brew perfectly. The server brought extra honey and water without me having to ask, which made my experience so much more enjoyable. The refills were timely, and I was able to sip and relax without interruptionâdefinitely a plus, plus, plus in my book.
For breakfast, I had the French toastâcrispy and delicious, with the perfect crunch. The hash brown casserole was flavorful, and I loved that they offered real shell eggsâa rare find these days. Itâs the little things that make a big difference! However, the sausages were a bit of a letdown for me. They tasted like frozen patties, which wasnât what I was expecting from a place like this. They were still good, just not the fresh-cooked kind youâd find at other breakfast spots.
The atmosphere was lovelyâquiet, cozy, and perfect for conversation, even though it was busy. Our server was friendly and patient, allowing us to catch up without feeling rushed. The booths were very comfortable, making it easy to settle in for a while. While I didnât think to ask at the time, I did notice they donât offer warm syrup, which is something Iâve gotten used to at other places, but it didnât take away from the experience.
Thereâs also a bar area for those dining solo or looking to meet new people, which is a nice touch. Even with a crowd, the place felt calm, and the laughter from other tables was a nice backdrop.
