Not a smashed as I thought it would be, decent burgers, pricey but I guess that's kind of on par with most other places. Definitely worth giving the rattlesnake a try. The server was blown away when I asked for a separate container for the toppings, replying with a befuddled 'I guess'...
Although the burger comes out looking kinda sad, I have to admit it had good flavor. (It comes out with no fixings and you go fix it yourself at a fixings bar) I ordered the 1/3 lb cheeseburger. The patty probably started at 1/3 lb but it appeared to shrink up quite a bit, but despite that, the patty w/cheese served on a toasted brioche bun tasted pretty good. If I am in the area, I would return for another burger, but I probably wouldn’t make a special trip to come get this...
Been coming to this place for years. They started out in Porter near 1314 and 59, then moved to another location near 1314 and 242. Once they closed the doors there several years ago, I'd just assumed that they were done. I was shocked to see their location at Rayford and 45 when I was on a mission for crawfish at the flying pug. Finally had an opportunity to visit for dinner last Friday 8/30/24 and it did NOT disappoint! The jalapeño chicken tacos were as delicious...
