I had a terrible experience at Urban Bird Hot Chicken. I placed my order at 9:03 PM and waited for half an hour before realizing my order wasn’t coming. When I finally went to the register to check on the status, the staff claimed that the ticket didn’t print in the kitchen, even though people who came after me received their orders. At one point, I was the only person in the restaurant, so you’d think they’d notice me sitting there without food or at least ask if I was still waiting. After being informed my order was lost and hadn’t been made, I opted for a refund instead of waiting another half-hour. The refund was processed at 9:34 PM, but the staff didn’t apologize or show any remorse for their mistake.

While waiting, I noticed how filthy the restaurant was. None of the staff came around to wipe down the dirty tables or clean the drink and condiment station. I was seated in a booth near the register and could see all the employees in the back, fooling around and chatting instead of attending to customers. At one point, an employee tossed a fork at a customer, which bounced and nearly hit me in my booth.

This establishment has gone downhill with its filthy conditions and unprofessional staff. They take forever to make food because they clearly don’t care about their customers. I used to love this place when it first opened, and the customer service was great. Unfortunately, it’s not worth the headache or the poor service anymore. You can find better hot chicken establishments elsewhere. Management needs to retrain their staff and do some serious quality control. I won’t be visiting again.

Food is delicious, one of my go-to hot chicken places.
However, there is an issue with Delivery of orders.
Staff "doesn't do" the drinks, and delivery drivers (they contract DoorDash) are not allowed to pour the drinks, as law considers this food preparation.
Therefore it is impossible to order drinks for delivery.

TLDR; very tasty food, don't order drinks.

The employees spent more time talking and laughing in the back than making the food. I wasted my lunch break waiting in the dining room just to end up getting a refund and going back to work hungry. Don’t come here if you’d like to eat in a timely manner. I definitely won’t be back.

Overall the food was very average. There was very little flavor in the mild and lemon pepper. The Nashville hot was pretty good. The mac and cheese is mediocre at best, and the hot Cheetos can't save it. The Service was decent overall and they got me my order quick. However, they left part of my order out. The cost of the food is very high as well. You can get better chicken and sides elsewhere for a better cost. As for the restaurant it was nice and clean inside.

Parking: Can be crowded around lunch time.

Overall all the food was really good. I like the juicy chicken, crispy fries and the variety of sauces. The portion of corn was really small for the price and didn't taste as good. Nice and clean restaurant with quick service. Will definitely go again.

First time I’ve ever there! Chicken tenders were flavorful and juicy, and the Buffalo Ranch fries were piled high enough to feed 2 people and were awesome! The white mac n cheese that the Buffalo fries and chicken are layered over are an interesting and tasty combo!!
The cashier seemed a little lost, or just didn’t care, but he was nice for the most part so I’ll give him the benefit of the doubt. He didn’t have a whole lot to say in response to my questions, so that’s why i rated service 4 stars.
