This place is incredible. Amazing great quality baked goods. Hand made authentic Mexican bakery items. Brought back childhood memories of the panaderias in Mexico. Small business with great prices. Give this place a shot, its a hidden gem.

It’s hard to give a higher rating when empanadas barely had any dulce de leche. Barely enough to coat the inside of the empanada.

This place has very friendly staff, the place is a little small but it is quality, the bread is delicious and soft, it is close to my house and I can arrive at any time between 7:30am to 8:30pm, they even gave me a sample of a new bread. made of nutella 100% recommended for its good prices and flavor

This year the most expensive, smallest stuffed donut I bought with cream cheese and strawberry and a quarter of the donut didn't come with anything, begging to increase it anyway and roast the small ones and pilón without adding cream cheese and strawberry at all the

They can't set the correct hours, it's supposed to be open on Sunday and it closes at 9pm and it's closed, don't waste someone's time.

Small little bakery in Spring right off 2920. I had a late night craving of sweet bread and Veracruz Bakery was the only one open late (9pm).I had a couple dollar bills and sped to it before closing, did get cuernitos, cinnamon cookies, and my all time-fave conchas. The conchas were my favorite by far, the cinnamon cookies very powdery, sugary and dusty which is just the way I like it, the cuernitos however I was a little disappointed since they were rally hard even the center with the yellow which is my favorite part. It could be that I did get 2 out of the last 3 they had but I felt they were a little too small and hard for my comfort. The employee was direct and on the mission to check me out which I can understand when there is only 15 minutes until closing time OR perhaps the fact that there was a misfortunate " language barrier" which there wasn't but I like to believe that people miss that I too speak Spanish. The prices were a little higher than I typically pay at a Mexican bakery but I still managed to pay with the cash I had in hand. I will stop by one more time and give them another chance, when you make a late night trip close to closing you get slim pickin's and will come at a more reasonable time.

Very rich!

Nice alternative to a donut. Just sweet enough to have with coffee.

Nice little Mexican bakery, good selection. Quality, however, is just average . Empanadas barely have fillings.

Great Mexican bakery. I see several reviews stating cash only. That is not the case anymore. They do take card.

Finally a Mexican bakery with actual good bread!! If y'all are tired of buying tasteless, bland sand in the shape of a piece of bread, look no further.. Veracruz bakery has what you need!! And they open late too!

Always delicious fresh bake goods

The quality of this place has certainly gone down. You pay $1 for one empanada? I’m willing to put the higher prices aside to support a local business but the quality and freshness just weren’t there. Staff is friendly so two stars based on that.
