My dad wanted to try the porchop from TikTok, unfortunately they were out but made up for it! They didn't have to go above and beyond but they did. Great service, great history great food!
I did not know it, but this Sunday was the porkchop special (4/5)! For under $20, the prime, twice-smoked chop is incredible value but was a bit dry. That said, my favorite dish was the soup of the day: chicken and artichoke (5.3/5)!!! Soooo good. So if you're in Spring, TX, I can easily recommend Wunsch Bros, walking distance from Old Town Spring shopping.
fun venue, friendly service. The quality of food was not as good as prior outing. The appetizers are excellent. The vegetables leave much to be desired. Canned corn, undercooked green beans {not like grandma would make as claimed}, tomatoes and okra with pizza spices? Barbecue sauce heavy on vinegar. The entrees are fine, avoid the vegetables.
Overall it was just ok the food was not bad but not great either, just average and lacked flavor and spice. Plus it was very loud in the restaurant, but in fairness it was because there were several large groups in the restaurant.
Always a good meal at a reasonable price - Joaquin did a great job and enjoyed the experience
Shane was attentive and thoughtful, often anticipating our needs b4 asked. Friendly and knowledgeable about the establishment. Went above and beyond to make our experience a great one. Will come again........there's A LOT more on the menu I'd like to try!
Kid-friendliness: Shane interacted with both our little girls. They loved being treated with some maturity and not treated like little kids.😉

Great service from Angel Shanon. Everything was great , but the pork chop was a little dry and could have used more seasoning not just on the inside but maybe marinating it would help the flavor

The GM and the Server offered free cheesecake for my Daughters Birthday. However they charged us 11.00 for the slice of cheesecake and my Daughter got upset. Actions speak louder then words. Do what you say your going to do or lose customers that put Principle before Everything. Indian giving is not ok!

We enjoyed our meal. Love that the menu is so varied that we could all find a favorite dish. I had the house burger. Excellent!
Wunsche Bros in Spring, TX is truly one of a kind! The moment you walk in, you can feel the history and character in the walls. The renovation was done so thoughtfully, preserving the original charm of the building while adding all the modern amenities. The downstairs area is perfect for hanging out with friends and watching a game, while the upstairs provides a more private, intimate setting – great for a date. The food was absolutely delicious, and the service was outstanding. The staff knew the menu inside and out and offered fantastic suggestions. To top it off, we were given a great explanation of the building's history at the end of our visit. I can't wait to go back!

Everything was fantastic other than lack of communication on them being out of lava cake and waiting 30+ minutes on dessert before having to walk up and ask where our dessert was. We asked for two cheesecake to go instead since the gentlemen said they were out of lava cake. But then was told they found a piece of lava cake downstairs by the young gentlemen. When I got home I tried to eat it and it tasted old and certainly not edible. Other than this little issue the rest was FANTASTIC.
First time there so we got a variety. The sampler of sausage balls, fried pickles, fried mushroom and cheese curds was delicious. The fried catfish great flavor, tad salty cooked to perfection - fish was tender, coating was crunchy , smoked sausage with a slight kick was unexpectedly delicious, roasted chicken - tad dry but very good, beer bread, blueberry mojito - acquired taste -- side dishes of mashed potatoes, salad, all fresh and tasty. The seating is comfortable, great place to socialize. Took the key lime pie and whiskey chocolate cake - great portion sizes. Pie was fabulous. Cake could use more chocolate . Service was excellent - friendly. We are going back.
Went for the first time last night and we were blown away! Amazing service from Shane and great selections of food! The fries were so good (and an enormous portion!) and the burger was super juicy - had the seasonal cocktail (some simple cider deliciousness) but wanted it non-alcoholic and Shane made it happen AND didn’t charge me full price since I wasn’t buying the vodka too ❤️❤️ We will definitely be regulars!!
Event dept has too many turnovers. Cost us an event. Used to be a favorite place. No more.
We had a rehearsal dinner there for 60 people and it was amazing. The manager Shelly was great and the bartender Jacki, servers Jazzy, Carolyn and Jason were the best. Everyone complemented the food, venue and service.
