This is a fantastic hole in the wall ramen spot. Aauthentic, family-owned, and full of flavor. The noodles taste fresh and homemade, with generous portions in every bowl. Highly recommend if you’re a ramen lover looking for a cozy, authentic experience.”

Arrived here at about noon for a weekday lunch with a coworker. There were no other customers and when I joked that we beat the crowds the one waitress seemed unamused. While pleasant enough (just) the service was okay.
We both ordered the bento box for lunch and I got the fried chicken thigh meat bento which also comes with a soup. Today it was miso which was okay. The bento box was okay as well, nothing special. The fried chicken reminded me a little of KFC with less batter but just as salty. At $12.95 it was ok for lunch.
May consider returning but not in a rush.

this place is totally dirty. On many ways. You should see the bathroom at unisex and dirty the plates where you get served they still dirty at the bottom and the food that doesn’t look that yummy. please don’t come here. It’s really bad place. Even if the people looks nice in there.

Went here today as I just happen to be in the area. I got the spicy miso ramen, and it was so good from the broth to the chew in the noodle. The girl that served us was so kind and attentive. The shop felt cozy. I definitely recommend, and will be returning as soon as I can!

Great place for Ramen. The spicy miso ramen is amazing and the broth is absolutely incredible. Must try, definitely coming back!
Went for dinner with the family. Best spicy chicken ramen ever!! Beats Jinya for sure! I had a taste of my husband seafood ramen it was full of flavor it wasn’t just spicy. One of my kids had the bento box, presentation was on point and she said the items on the tray were delicious. I had a bit of her seaweed and it was fresh. They have child size ramen too. My 3 years old ate all of his chicken ramen and he’s a picky eater. Service was excellent! Will return for sure!
The food was okay, the yummy buns were well done but the meat had no flavor to it.
The ramen i ordered was okay as well. No outstanding flavor that would distinguish this ramen shop. The enviroment was dead. If you want to eat with no noise, i would recommend it as i was the only one at the time when i ate there. As mentioned the food was good, just not the greatest i’ve had.
I’ve been here twice now and when I say they have the best ramen ever!!! Everything is perfect. The service is excellent. They are very nice and cares about what you want.
It is very authentic Japanese Ramen near Spring area. Great service and food is delicious. Fully recommended!!

Great but small spot. Great food. Good pricing. Wonderful ppl running the place. Will be back
I dont know why people are complaining about this place. I'm not local but this is my new favorite place. As you walk in, you can tell this is a small family business. But dont let the looks fool you. Food is amazing, portion is fantastic, price makes it yummier. Service was nice too. I saw someone complain about egg not being cooked enough, well, the egg is supposed to be half cooked! Stop complaining and let's appreciate that place like this is still around and support decent local business like Yoko Ramen. (PS, dr pepper and ramen will be more expensive at any restaurant, not just here, if you're comparing to HEB. So stop the whining.)
First time going to Yoko Ramen, and glad we did instead of Jinya which is the next closest place.
TLDR: Good food for a good price. Would recommend, great to support a family business that has character.
It's a small family restaurant, parents in the kitchen and daughter serving. There are some reviews on here about the server being rude, talking about weird stuff, etc. She was very nice, maybe a little socially awkward, but she's a teenager so people need to not be so uptight and be more understanding. Everyone was very friendly.
The food was good. We ordered pork katsu, bbq dumplings, chicken curry ramen, and spicy miso ramen. Total was $44 after tax, which is extremely fair for the portion sizes. Honestly, the prices might be a little low for what you get.
I've never had curry ramen before, and i was a fan. The curry flavor wasn't overpowering and other flavors came through.
The pork in the miso was thin and seared on both side. The meat was a little tough, but tasted good from the sear so not a big deal. I've honestly had better ramen, but we will be back again to try more on the menu. Next to try is the tonkontsu.
The atmosphere is a little rough with printouts of the dishes being taped to the wall, but it's not appalling. Adds some interesting character, gave me a chuckle. It was clean, and that's all that matters. The picky people complaining about it need to lighten up.
The food was absolutely fantastic and the staff were pretty friendly to interact with. This is one of THE BEST family-owned restaurants to eat at!
We have been coming to this place for several years, in the beginning we liked the atmosphere and the service but over time it is more rude, they need to pay more attention to how the customer is served
