YUCCA GRILL
Following the posting and review of another NextDoor neighbor we decided to go for lunch at the Yucca Grill.
It's hard to express how incredible our meal was. The place is beautifully done, quite different from the previous occupant (Al Waadi). We loved going to Al Waadi, and it's wonderful to be able to return there now with this fabulous new restaurant in full swing.
My wife had the Chicken Wrap, and I had the Vegetarian Wrap. Both were amazing, and I must say that their falafel is probably the best I've ever had. The wraps were delicious.
Prior to getting our wraps we took our waiter's suggestion and got the 5-item sampler... all incredibly delicious. I would also mention that the service is elegant, and first class, and our waiter was very friendly, helpful and attentive to our needs.
I wish the Yucca Grill all the best of luck, because they've made a monumental effort to succeed, and also to create something beautiful that is an asset to the community.
Please give them a try. It's really impressive.

It is hard to find fresh amazing healthy food in Houston. Now it is one step easier - YUCCA amazing amazing. The meat was very tender and melted in your mouth. The veggies the salad the baklava made to perfection. 5 star plus!!!

The food wasn't good. The kebabs had a weird odor and taste and overall just wasn't good and to be fair the young ppl age group isn't gonna like this place. Would not recommend coming here.

I ordered take out and their grilled Lamb, chicken are delicious! We got baklava as free dessert, it's so good. I love the pistachio filling they put in it.

We have been there 3 times.Plenty of choices available and ALWAYS fresh food. You can pick anything from the menu and won’t regret it. When we went last time, we ordered from “Iftar” menu. It was so delicious and the price was reasonable. I truly recommend this place! Thank you for the warm welcoming as ALWAYS!!!

Food is scrumptious and luscious here. The interior and menu design are aesthetically pleasing, and the atmosphere smells fresh & pure! Today we had a birthday, and one of the waiters brought an extra slice of cake for the birthday person! The waiters are extremely well-mannered, and Turkish tea tastes magical. The menu includes vegetarian options, including a lovely soup of the day. Thankfully, the menu is also halal!
This place is definitely a go to for good food. Pictured is the Beyti Kebab and it’s not disappointing. The Baklava is also a good choice. The parking is plenty, the price is fair, the atmosphere is pleasant and the service is very friendly. I will definitely order from here again.

We have found this place on internet.It was a great night with our friends.Yucca is a wonderful Mediterranean focused fusion restaurant.A variety of Turkish and Greek foods are served.The kebabs are made fresh daily.It was one of the best crusty minced kebab I ever had in Houston.Any one who would like to try what a Mediterranean Cuisine experience is, should once taste them in Yucca.Very family friendly restaurant in a cozy corner on Louetta.Plenty of parking space and quite environment.A good spot to have a good time speaking with friends.I would recommend to anyone in north Houston to stop by sometime.
