I miss the salvation sandwich, even thou I am from Dallas we used to have a few Alvin Ords stores here in the 90s, but soon I will make a trip to Springtown just to visit Alvin Ords and buy me a few Salvation sandwiches! ☆☆☆☆☆
I've indulged in the delicious sandwiches that this place makes for awhile now, (The Quill is my go to!! 12 out of 10 stars!!! THEIR BREAD, Y'ALL. 🤤) but I've never been lucky enough to come when the Take and Bake fridge was stocked. My hours are pretty much the same of Alvin Ord's but this past Friday (8/22/25) I had to have a minor surgery procedure so my husband drove me and we had off work. We were leaving and he asked what I wanted to eat... I LIT....
First time stopping here. Took a little bit for someone to greet us and wait on us. Have a wide variety of sandwiches to choose from. Although what we wanted to get they were out of or didn't have all the items listed on sandwiches. The sandwiches were very bland at best. The menu advertised French bread baked daily, wasn't the French bread I was expecting. Sandwiches were good size but kinda pricy. Ended up tossing 3/4 of my sandwich. They do serve Blue Bell...
