Today I made the drive over to Springtown to grab lunch at Alvin Ord's Sandwich Shop Springtown Texas, and let me tell you — it was absolutely worth it! If you haven’t been yet, I highly encourage you to check them out. Their sandwiches and salads are delicious, and they even have Take & Bake options for an easy dinner at home. I miss the salvation sandwich, even thou I am from Dallas we used to have a few Alvin Ords stores here in the 90s, but soon I will make a trip to Springtown just to visit Alvin Ords and buy me a few Salvation sandwiches! ☆☆☆☆☆
I've indulged in the delicious sandwiches that this place makes for awhile now, (The Quill is my go to!! 12 out of 10 stars!!! THEIR BREAD, Y'ALL. 🤤) but I've never been lucky enough to come when the Take and Bake fridge was stocked. My hours are pretty much the same of Alvin Ord's but this past Friday (8/22/25) I had to have a minor surgery procedure so my husband drove me and we had off work. We were leaving and he asked what I wanted to eat... I LIT....
