Excellent food and service tonight. Much much better than times before. The BBQ was plentiful and delicious. The waitress was great. Good sense of humor and good at her job. 5 stars ?.

Went there for my wife's birthday. Waitress was fantastic. Food was good, even got them to sing happy birthday to my wife! Haylee was the waitress name I believe.

Nice place to eat good food. Not from around here got the Texas Twinkies.I thought they were good but the bacon was smoked but still raw and I guess they don't put barbecue sauce on them anymore.I had the smashburger on the homemade bun and fries, Outrageously good burger but cold fries. We also ordered the pulled pork and potato salad.Again the fun was unbelievable but the pork was lacking in flavor and the potato salad had a bite to it due to the potatoes being slightly raw.

We would actually give our time there a 3 1/2, but since we can’t, we’re going to give it a four because we think it leans more that way. We had a family of five with us and I believe it’s our first time to eat there since it’s changed from the previous restaurant to the one it is now. I had the turkey dinner and would give my turkey ? a five 5️⃣ . The turkey was moist and it tasted so good and I really enjoyed that. My baked potato was OK and I would say it was not quite a four, but it was OK. I enjoyed our salad and would lean it being more towards the four and also liked the ranch dressing. My husband had the barbecue plate with sliced brisket and jalapeño cheese sausages. He would give it a five 5️⃣ and said the sliced brisket was moist and flavorful and the sausages were well seasoned without the jalapeño ?️ being overpowering. We had three children’s plates and don’t have a whole lot to go on there, but I will say that each child had plenty of food to eat. The chicken strips seemed fine and they liked their tater tots.I will say the restaurant seemed very busy and our waitress, and possibly other staff seemed overwhelmed. However, in all that, and although we did have to ask for things more than once, she was very nice. I just think they had a lot of people there, which is a good sign, and maybe not enough staff to take care of them that particular night. It does seem like a good restaurant and a nice place to go if you looking for a casual family night.Kid-friendliness: We had three children there and the waitress was very nice to them. They seemed to enjoy their chicken strips and their tighter tots and they had plenty to eat.

We waited over 45mins for our food. Meanwhile we watched two different people who came in minutes after us get their food and even got multiple refills. I'll feel like we were purposely getting avoided. After seeing the second person get their food, we just decided to pay for our drinks and leave without making a scene. We asked for the check and head to the front to pay. The waitress just takes off and makes us wait some more. While we're waiting the lady who seated us from the beginning just starts asking if this was going to be a table for two and I almost laughed like we were totally forgotten about. This place is such a joke. I feel like we just got taking advantage of honesty.

Was anxious to trial local restaurant under new management so when received a promotional invite was excited to reserve.Walking in, the decor & ambiance was great. Unfortunately the "patio" room when presenting was being given, was freezing cold. Asked for hear, but didn't happen.Very disappointed that there was no non meat option available on a Friday during Lent, but went ahead & ordered a varity of non meat sides. The loaded baked potato was cold. The Mac & cheese was cold. The green beans were a soggy mess, understandable if left in a warmer at the end of a long day, but this was lunch...even the lemonade was watered down.Know that I did not pay for this meal, but the promotion sponsor did.If only one portion of this experience was positive would have considered going back to give it another try, but don't think so...

I truly wanted to love Fireside BBQ. This was the second time we tried the food here. The first time was takeout and it's about a 15-minute drive home, so the food was not super hot. I decided I wouldn't review until we dined in. Sadly, our take out cold pulled pork sandwiches were much better than our dine in meals.I got the loaded baked potato with brisket. It came cold, very dry, and somehow I got all the fatty parts of the brisket. The parts that should be trimmed off after smoking. My husband ordered the brisket burger. It was also cold. It lacked sauce, and he also got all the fatty parts of the brisket.I ordered the banana pudding to go. I was very sad about this pudding as its banana flavored pudding with no banana in it and some crushed villa wafers on the bottom and a couple whole ones on the top. Very sad and disappointing for sure. The service was friendly and good. I have no real complaints regarding service. The owner should do the staff a favor and get the kitchen in order so the front of the house can make some money with a packed house, IMHO.The decor is the same as the old Shinola's decor and could be cleaned and updated, and some of it just removed. It was very drafty and cold, which is not overly inviting.I feel like some corrections need to be made for this restaurant to be successful. I truly hope positive changes are made in quality and atmosphere, and this restaurant survives.

Tried their breakfast this morning. The fireside omelet was awesome. Had plenty leftover for tomorrow. And the service is always friendly and on top of it.
