Extremely slow service with very little customers. Showed up to get the to go order to find out they changed the order without calling and notifying first. Then say the kitchen wasn’t doing baked potatoes anymore. If you no longer make them remove them from the menu.

Food isn’t very good and high priced for what they serve. Beer was cold, but also higher priced unless you’re ordering buckets. Atmosphere is pretty nice and relaxed. Wouldn’t hurt to have more servers outside and be a little quicker about getting orders out….and correct.

We went after our Basketball game, hands down so glad everyone else in town told us they were closed!!! Zane took great care of us, the food was hot and drinks were cold and served promptly!!! Let’s not forget about the Music Bingo! We will be back!
Also, Courtney helped us at the end to be able to snap a photo with Zane!

Today was my first time eating at Pappy Jack’s. The staff was excellent. The food was great. Two thumbs up great job.👍👍

Ordered four chicken fried steak dinners for delivery. None showed up with gravy. One had wrong vegetables. Not sure why you can't get the orders right. This isn't the first time.

I will start by saying that the staff were incredibly nice and attentive to my table. The home spirit and decor is nice and alive too. However, just about everything else was mediocre.

The food was pretty dismal, and we did not view that the price was worth the meal. We did have to wait longer than usual, but it can be attributed to a large party that the kitchen had to attend to.

I got the Grilled Chicken plate with a side of Mac and Cheese & Pinto Beans. The chicken was very dry and unseasoned, so I had to douse it with salt and pepper. The beans and the mac weren't too bad thankfully.

My father had gotten the Jack's Shroomer, and he had the same sentiment about the meat patty.

Overall, I believe that the food was not worth the price because of poor seasoning and preparation.

P.S. I want to love y'all and I really like supporting local businesses, there are just things that could be improved :)

Never again! We have tried to like this place, but the food won’t allow us to! The first time we went the very young hostess sat us in an area that didn’t even have a waiter/waitressassigned to it because they were short staffed. After an hour of waiting for our fish dinner, we finally got it and the fish was good & the manager paid for our meal because of the wait. The next time we came we had burgers and they were terrible. The meat had no flavor. So we have been sticking to the fish dinners until tonight. I placed an order of 2 fish dinners to pick up. The food was ready promptly and the staff was very good. However, when I got the food home, we realized that the fish fillets were huge. The breading did not stick to the fish, and the breading did not have a good flavor. The coleslaw was not good. It had a very strange flavor I don’t know what it was, but it didn’t taste right. We won’t be bothering ourselves with Slappy Jack’s ever again, which is sad because they opening another one in Decatur. Is it gonna be just as crappy as the one in Springtown?

Today was absolutely the worst service I’ve ever had here. It wasn’t extremely busy and we were checked up on 1 time. Never got our food order taken, had to wait over 20 minutes for our drinks. The atmosphere is great and typically we enjoy eating here. Today we did not.
