Food was ok....... had shrimp and the loaded fries. Loaded fries were not as I remembered last time. Hubby said Burger was ok. Margarita was amazing. Service and staff were outstanding! Will return will just try something else.

First time here with the wife and didn’t have to pay a gate fee if you’re just going to the boathouse for lunch. The restaurant was very awesome. Good vibes fantastic food and big portions. Even with a packed house we had great service and fantastic staff. Definitely will be coming back and referring friends to this place.

two sodas, one beer, three meals & two ice creams was $60 so bit over priced, strawberry lemonade was fake not home made and it came out not even mixed up with red dye in bottom of cup of water, cat fish was slimy under the batter, dr ppr tasted like walmart dr thunder, couldn’t taste the meat on hamburgers BUT it was a very beautiful day, didn’t smell very fishy out and there’s child high chairs & it was a quarter for dog food to feed the fish.

Great place for a date or a mid day lunch .the atmosphere and vibes were awesome. Our waiter was great and very good at keep the table at bay. The price was okay, but the food was bomb. The outside area on the docks was great and views were amazing. Feeding the fish under the dock is a nice experience as well . All together if your just looking to have a couple of drinks before going out on the water or looking for a meal , i highly recommend The Boathouse lake lavon.

Last 4 times I pulled up to this place it was closed. Idling through the marina for ten minutes just to dock and find the door locked is a bit frustrating. They need to keep correct open times on Google!

I really wanted to enjoy it as I used to like this restaurant. We were sat at a dirty table that they cleaned/bussed after we sat. The food was just basic fried fare you could get anywhere. I got fried catfish and it had a dirt flavor and was pretty expensive. None of our sides were correct and sauces and drinks were forgotten. Two of my friends asked for cheese burgers with nothing on them but cheese. The burgers had everything on them, of course. After a third ask, we were able to get some ranch and our beverages. Also the women’s toilet was clogged and I was instructed to use the men’s room which was not in the best shape. Maybe they need to hire some more people to work here and the waitress could write orders down on something vs promising she could remember everything but not actually remembering anything at any point.

Great food and drink options for being out on the lake, friendly and attentive staff, clean and lively atmosphere, live music, great view of the lake. My favorites are the burgers, chips and queso, and the banana pudding!

This is the perfect place to go if you wanna be admired by a redneck while you eat ! This place is awful and should honestly just go under water next time it floods . The fries are always soggy the catfish tasted like it was picked up off the hot cement and thrown in the fryer. The old owners were much better
