Flour tortillas covering instead of corn meal. Went on a Saturday & service was very slow. Only 1 person was working & she let us know that it would be about 30 minutes before our order would be ready go. #WE WAITED. Wife had steak fingers which were made from chopped cube steak. She says they were really, really good.
The folks here have that certain old school drive in touch that remains personal. When they make a burger or dixie dog, it's like they made it for YOU, not just another number. One of the best drive in eateries I have ever been to. Hand battered dixie dog is a true treasure. Service is 4 stars only bc it can get busy and take an hr or more to get food, otherwise is superb. Atmosphere is 4 stars only bc there is no dine in feature.
