I visited for the first time during a work meeting and had a wonderful experience—the atmosphere was pleasant, the food was great, and I was genuinely impressed. I enjoyed it so much that I decided to return with my family to celebrate my daughter’s birthday. Unfortunately, our second visit was disappointing. Three of us ordered the $10 lunch special and one drink, yet the bill came to $70. When I questioned it, the server corrected the charges, but even after the adjustment, it still felt like we were overcharged due to the automatic gratuity. We left feeling a bit deceived. The mixed drink prices were also surprisingly high—$15 for a single drink. Overall, I don’t plan to return. It’s too pricey, and we felt taken advantage of. My advice: always double-check your ticket.

We visited the BRT at the new location tonight for the first time. On a Friday night. The atmosphere is wonderful. The food is top notch. I had the Bubba (fried fish Po' boy). The house made tarter sauce has a little kick to it which is so good! the beers we had were good. we ate inside, but the outside atmosphere with the fire pits and games looked so warm and fun. Best of all, our service was excellent! Our waitress, Riata( Riana, hope I spelled it right.) was the BEST!

Macie, Izzy, and Madeline are the best servers. Always make me feel welcome and take care of me. Best beer and food around. Love going there after a long day.

This place has become my go to spot. I’m here 2–4 times a week. The staff is incredible Randi and Liv behind the bar always make me feel right at home, and even Maci and Izzy, who serve, will stop by just to check in. You can tell everyone here genuinely cares about their guests.

Whether you’re looking to unwind after work, catch up with friends, or just relax and get some emails done, this tap house has a little bit of everything for everyone. The patio is perfect for a laid-back afternoon, and the atmosphere inside is always welcoming and easygoing. Great drinks, great people, and an all-around five star experience every time.

The hostess was very rude and dismissive of me and my family. The server was a lot more pleasant and easy to talk to. I expected more from the food due to the prices. The hostess was rude enough to ruin all of our nights and I recommend having a better attitude when you’re getting paid to welcome people. To add on to hostess being rude she lied about not having a dessert menu then proceeded to bring out a chocolate cake to the table beside us. Someone fire her I don’t find it hard to be a decent person when you’re getting paid. We also weren’t checked up on as often and waited to get our check for 40 minutes.

Bosque River Tap House is my go-to spot — I’m here almost every day for lunch or dinner while I work! The vibe is always chill, the food hits every time, and Olivia and Katy are absolute rockstars. They’re fun, super attentive, and always have a smile on their face. Definitely one of the best spots in Stephenville! 🍔🍻

One of the best places to eat in Stephenville. Only complaint I have is that they took the birria tacos off the menu, but last time I was in their Riata clutched up and got the cook to make them for me any way. 6 stars for Riata.

The place screams “Bring the wife, mother-in-law, kids, and dog”, but you get there and though they have a beautiful outside area, they said no to my dog. I do get that dogs could “potty”, but so could a service animal. In all honesty, we thought it was a Purple Goat extension. Have a dog free section and a well-behaved dog section.

We had the trio chips and dip, the devil eggs were awesome, the Texan double meat was delicious. We also got chicken fried steak with mashed potatoes. It was a lunch potion but really good. Chloe was our waitress and she was really great, good recommendations and kept the tea glasses topped off. Great experience all the way around. The only recommendation we could offer would be add umbrellas for shade on the patio. We are glad to have another choice here in the ville.

We attended Bosque River Taphouse last night with a bigger group! I’m not going to lie, after the reviews I had seen, I was skeptical that we’d make it out in any sort of timely fashion. But they definitely proved me wrong!! Our waitress was so sweet and when she got pulled away for another big table towards the end, we had several servers come up and make sure we were still going okay and if we needed anything! And the pecan pie they have….to DIE FOR!!!🤩🤩🤩🤩

The atmosphere is great! The servers are great! The food is great! Take the trip and find out!

I recently had the pleasure of visiting this local brewery bar for the first time and I must say, it was a truly enjoyable experience. The atmosphere is welcoming and perfectly sets the stage for a relaxing evening out. Maddy and Olivia, our hosts, were outstanding—friendly, attentive, and genuinely invested in making our visit memorable. The service was quick and efficient, ensuring our glasses were never empty and our needs were promptly met. I’m definitely looking forward to returning and would highly recommend this spot to anyone looking for quality drinks and a great time!
