To begin, I do not really like "fastfood". We went because Chicken Express has livers and gizzards on the menu. They have some other interesting items like fried pickles. I'm from California so I don't see these type of items. This Chicken Express has friendly service, the food was fresh but over all but I can't say that the food is great or even that good. It is fair and it is fast food. If I rate it compared to other fast food, it rates average, or slightly above average because the chicken does taste fresh. However, I can't honestly give it a high rating because I just can't eat too much food of this type -- it makes me feel just yucky! I'm too old to eat food like this (by food "like this" I am refering to the additives, etc).

Since all the reviews are old I agree this used to be fresh chicken. 8/7/23 I purchased the 8 piece meal; family order of instant potatoes and I asked for fresh okra, 2 sweet teas and 3 fried pies. I paid $45.00 yeap! When the guy brought the order out I asked is the okra fresh? He said no! "She didn't say you wanted fresh okra". So he offered to cook done fresh. When we got the food I taste the okra and some was fresh but he mixed the stale with the freshThe chicken must've been left from lunch mind you it was 4pm when I went there. The tea tasted like sugar water. I went to bank and was driving home to Dublin taste a wing it was stale. I was so exhausted from making 3 trips to Stephenville today. Got hone all the chicken was stale. I called the mgr Greg he said why didn't you bring it back? Is it not eatable? Not for me because I don't eat anything. "That don't sound like anything my crew did". He ?? Me like I was lying. I pack the crap up drive all the way back to Stephenville. That sorry s***** never apologized Just handed me a void receipt! If Mr James is not there I will not go back!!!!
