This place has fallen in quality and in service. Moved to Stephenville about 3 years ago and hit this place for the 1st time and it was great. Went back the other night and well????. Food was not as good, service was not good. Lady kept saying she was "busy" but there was a total of 6 people in the restaurant. We would ask for something and she say she'd grab it but never came back with it?. Food was not as good as I remember. Mashed potatoes were hard and cold, shrimp was cold, portions have been shrunk, no longer worth the price.

Food plates are smaller, price to high , they put out a flier giving weekday specials , but don’t mention you can’t take it to go. A senior person has to eat special inside. Not fun when you don’t eat with someone. I’ve left the restaurant and didn’t order. . O, you can get it to go, you just have to pay full price for regular serving instead of daily special pricing. I use to get the daily special regularly before colvet

Came in today for the (email)16oz T bone steak special Saturday only 12/9/2023 12:00pm and was informed that they were none available because they got rid of them last night Friday. Haven't been here in a while. Be a long while if I return.
Server was openly hostile because we asked for a correction when we were given an item other than what was ordered. We were not impolite or abusive in any way. The server was actually threatening. Me and my son did not feel safe. The manager had to intervene. I have never seen anything like it..

We live about 30 miles away but every time we come to Stephenville we stop by Cotton Patch. The food is great, the atmosphere is relaxing and the service always good. A special shout out to our favorite server, Nicole. We'd adopt her if we could. We never go in that she doesn't make us feel both welcome and like we've come home. To us, she's like family.

It's a good atmosphere and we had a nice waiter the food was bland but ok... Their baked apples tasted like a 5 year old threw them in the oven and created the recipe.Yet this thus far is the best one I've been to.
