This was our first time trying The Funky Monkey and I’m so glad we did! We ordered the key lime pie and the pineapple upside down flavored shaved ice and they are better than I expected! Both flavors were saturated with enough syrup so that the ice itself was just a method of delivery for these cups of massive flavor! Workers were friendly and quick to get through the long line of cars. Highly recommend and I’m looking forward to going back.
Let me tell you I live in Dallas and I’ve never found a snow cone spot as delicious as this one! I really miss this place but everytime me and my little family visit we always stop by it never disappoints!
We got to the stand around 45 minutes before we opened. Tammy came out and offered to serve us as we were walking away. A wonderful woman, with a million dollar smile that's only matched by her engaging personality. We got two snow cones - a blue coconut with cream, and a tiger's blood - and both were fantastic. I would highly recommend the Funky Munky to anyone wanting to have a cold treat on a warm summer day. Thanks again, Tammy!
