Absolutely the worst Chinese I ever ate. I had high hopes for this place but the amount of grease was unbearable. The noodles were gross and not your traditional udon noodles. I wish I could get my $35 but lesson learned. Hopefully my dogs like it.

My husband and I have gone here for Sunday lunch and the buffet was good! My only complaint is that it was so crowded! I guess that's a good thing though and means they do well! We were greeted by the owner and he was very gracious!

I went back to Golden China restaurant. Chinese buffet it was very good buffet, good drink, very good water, good buffet selections, very good staff, and everything went good. I'll be back again sometime. Best Chinese food.

Went to Golden China after picking up my sister to go back to where we live (she's a freshman at Tarleton). They gave us wonton (I think) chips with red sauce, which was a nice surprise. Waitress was nice. Overall, a good spot for Chinese cuisine.

3 in the afternoon on a Tuesday. A fewer diners present. We were invited to sit where we wanted. ( love that ) Young female wait staffer. We were brought menus and order taken for drinks. I wanted hot tea and was asked if I wanted green tea or jasmine tea. 'Whatever is convenient'. I want to say a few words about the 'vibe' here. Atmosphere is low key. Female wait staffer, wonderful. If you look at some of my reviews you will see that I do not suffer fools lightly. This woman is 100% professional, polite and just...naturally friendly without being intrusive. Attentive without hovering. The tea she brought was jasmine tea, super hot (love that). First time tasting jasmine tea. Fragrant and delicious. Don't ruin it with any sweetener. I could not believe the prices. Less that $10 for just about everything on the menu. We'd eaten here before but this young woman made this experience a delight. Crispy noodles freshly made. Plum sauce was warm. OMG! Food was made FRESH for us. Egg rolls brought out as appetizer. How long since I experienced THAT? I ordered Hunan Beef, requesting it to be extra spicy. ( most places just ignore that request). Boyfriend ordered pepper steak. ALL the veg was crispy and flavorful. Meat tender, cooked just right. The portions were insane. The Chef here as real talent. I again have to speak about this young woman. When we sat down I said to my boyfriend, 'college student. She looks smart too'. This young woman could wait tables at The Four Seasons, or any Michelin star establishment. Of course she won't have to. She has a terrific career she'll be entering when college is finished. In this part of Texas, there is a lot of BAD SERVICE. People acting as though being intrusive and 'folksy' is charming. It isn't. My boyfriend gave this woman a $50 tip. To anyone reading this - disgruntled about my negative reviews about your service...? THIS is what you missed out on!

We used to go here occasionally years ago & it was pretty good. My parents recently moved back to the area, so we thought we'd give it a try. Mom & I both ordered the Moo Goo Gai Pan dinner. The soups were just ok, the wonton filling was good but the dough was under cooked, and the egg rolls were over cooked. The entree was probably the worst moo goo I've ever had. The sauce had absolutely no flavor and the chicken tasted microwaved and was completely inedible. There was no evidence any of it ever hit a wok. I really believe it was all just heated in a microwave. My Dad ordered sweet & sour chicken. He received a plate of little fried chicken nugget strip things with a couple of pieces of raw on pineapple on the side...no sauce. When we asked about sauce, the waitress pointed to the bowl on the table we had all shared with the won ton strips they serve to every table. We were very disappointed in the food. Would never recommend, will not be back.

Reliably good Chinese food for Stephenville. We get take out most times. Food tends on the blander side. Make sure they don't forget your sweet and sour sauce for chicken or egg rolls! Large portions and reasonably priced.

Nice family dinner. Good prices, generous portions. We are visiting from out of town. The service is good. Nice quiet restaurant but it is the Sat before Xmas Eve.

I have been going here for years and I LOVE their sesame chicken with fried rice. Their fried green beans are amazing as well as their crab wontons. It's my go to Chinese place when I am in town.

If I could give this place negative stars I would, we tried the buffet and everything had an awful sour taste. Could not even finish one plate. Microwave food from Walmart literally has more flavor and it's a heck of a lot cheaper. Avoid this place.
