Visiting Stephenville from Minnesota and I just ate the best grilled chicken sandwich in my life. It was beyond perfect, and the staff was great!

Had the chicken and waffles with blueberries.Waitress was curt with me as if she had somewhere else to be, the other waitress who cleared my plate at least made eye contact and sounded like she was interested in providing a good experience. I overheard the one who took my order apologizing to a table for there being a notable delay with their order despite it not being busy but don't know what they ordered for what that's worth.I totally understand using frozen berries. But as far as I could tell they used frozen chicken and a frozen waffle given how easily the batter fell off the flavourless rubbery chicken and how the waffle was not crisp, rather spongy.I have had more genuine chicken and waffles outside of the United States, can't believe they've priced something more than twice the cost of the ingredients only to keep it frozen. Ironic their proud photo with Gordon Ramsey wasn't because they featured on Kitchen Nightmares.

Real good place. We liked how its decorated. Great Customer Service. CFS cutlet a little tough, maybe not buy those to serve? Our party of 6 really enjoyed it.Parking: Catch what, catch can, gamble on City Street Parking, but I don't see an alternative for them to access for Customers to use.

The food was very good. The service was excellent. I would highly recommend eating at this restaurant if you get a chance. I had chicken fried chicken with loaded mashed potatoes and okra. And ate every bite.

First time here. We traveled from Granbury to Stephenville for two things. To look at the Bluebonnets and come to Greers for some home cooking. We ordered, roast, ribeye, and chicken fried steak. We came in between lunch and supper. The food came so fast we didn't have an opportunity to eat our salads. The roast was very good! Tender with good gravy. The CFS was good. However, it needed more seasonings. The gravy was good. The Mac and cheese was the star of this plate!! Awesome!! The green beans... not so much. The rib eye wasn't the favorite.HOWEVER!! THE PEACH COBBLER WAS THE BOMB.We would come back. If for no other reason than to get the cobbler!!Great location. Historic downtown. Lots of history in this place! Original floors and beams. Now for the not so good news. The salt and pepper shakers are filthy. Also, the sides of the tables are also really nasty. Please deep clean the shakers and the tables, and I'd give a rating of 5 no problems.

The food was delicious ?! I did not enjoy the bread pudding. My son had the chocolate cake! He said it was great. Chef came out to accommodate my wife's food allergies! Our server Ashland was a sweetheart!! Probably the best fried green tomatoes I've had in a long time. Everyone was pleased with their meals! Bacon wrapped filet, red fish, salmon and grilled chicken, and chopped salad.Dietary restrictions: See my comment above. They seem to care sincerely about food allergies.

Came for breakfast. Our server was nice and quick. The food itself was a little bland. The potatoes arrived on the cooler side and the chicken fried steak was very tough (another person in my group had the same experience). The gravy was good, though. And the pancakes are HUGE.
