Stopped by Hard Eight this weekend. By far the best BBQ I’ve had to date. This is coming from someone who has lived in the Southern East coast. Variety of different meats, pretty expensive but absolutely worth every penny. We purchased the brisket, ribeye, jalapeño and cheese sausage and sirloin. All was extremely juicy and not over cooked. Staff were extremely helpful. Will definitely come back!
The pulled pork was SO dry. We could not even chew it! The brisket was better but still dry and flavorless. Coming from South GA I do have high expectations when it comes to BBQ but this was a Hard 2. The sweet potato was the size of a hotdog (seriously wish I took a photo). I do want to add that the fried okra was the best thing we ordered. Beautiful atmosphere though, I hate the meat did not live up to the name of Hard Eight.
What amazing food and service. They catered my daughter’s graduation party and did an amazing job! Planning a party living out of town isn’t always easy…they made it so easy. Thanks so much!
