Amazing homemade pies!

I come here every time I'm in Stephenville, the foods great, the service amazing, the atmosphere is old school, and there is parking for bobtail semi's

Went for breakfast. Everything was undercooked, except the eggs which were way overcooked. Asked for crispy hash browns and they tasted like chicken noodle soup somehow. They must have used chicken base in them for some reason. I should have complained, but I waited for the waitress to ask how the food was instead. She never did. Neither did the cashier. Won't be back. If you cant get breakfast right, I don't want to try anything else.

Don’t get breakfast here. I ordered biscuits and gravy and sausage here. Sausage and gravy were cold and the biscuits were hard as a rock. There wasn’t any flavor to anything. Left most of my meal uneaten

Food was hot and fresh. Coffee was also. Served us water with our menu. Very nice and friendly waitress. Will definitely go back

Food was cold I actually believe our waitress forgot about us. First time back in 30 years. And it will be our last time back as well.

This place was good at one time. Today it was absolutely the worst food we have ever had. There were 9 of us for breakfast and out of 9 people, 9 orders were terrible and wrong. It is a good thing syrup comes with pancakes to hide the salt in them. Everyone that tasted the pancakes agreed they tasted like pure salt. Eggs were all undercooked or overcooked. 1 order never showed up until after everyone was finished. We really enjoyed this place in years past but now it is just nasty. I hate to say this but don't order breakfast. it is really the worst in town. McDonald's has better breakfast and that's saying alot.

Just like when you get to go home and eat mom’s cooking, this is that kind of experience. I showed up an hour after the sunset on a night of freezing rain and they were still working hard making unreal Chicken Fried Steak, mashed potatoes and salad. Really great breading on the chicken fried steak that was thick, but doesn’t cut the roof of your mouth. It tasted wonderful.

Exactly what you would expect from a small town diner. Nothing fancy, just decent food served with a smile.
I was bummed that my guest and I weren’t able to order the CFS lunch special for $7 so instead we got the Chicken Fried Steak and Salad for $14 each. 😒
Fortunately the chicken fry was FAR from over seasoned. It had good texture but needed a heap of help from the table side S&P shakers.
Tasty honey mustard dressing.
Take a slice of pie home. It’s fun to share!

Chicken fried steak was horrible. Maybe it was freezer burn, it was almost gamey which is concerning for beef. And it was beyond chewy. It looked tasty and the batter was cooked just right but I dunno what was inside it. The salad, burger and fries were okay. The fries left a puddle of grease in the wax paper. But I wish I had sent back the steak. I was too tired to deal with it.
