Took 40-45 minutes to get our drinks from the bar, no water until after we were well past halfway through our entrees which were served later than our drinks, and all of our entrees were served cold. Their "Nacho Explosion" appetizer that was advertised as taco chips covered with ground beef, cheese, pico de gallo and sour cream was missing almost everything except the chips and a large dab of sour cream. The only reason this place gets two stars is that the margaritas were very good despite the 40 plus minutes wait to receive them.

Awesome restaurant! Every dish i have tried is amazing. I recomend trying the clucker sandwich!

The food was okay, but not worth the price. Nothing stood out about it that would make it worth that much. We wanted to try something different after church so we decided to go here. The service was amazing. I got the honey's delight sandwich. ($16.99) it was good, but I didn't like that it was bacon bits and shredded cheese. I think if it was regular bacon slices and cheese slices it would have been different. My husband got a patty melt ($23). He said it was good, but the price was a bit much for what he received.

Pretty good food and nice atmosphere, just too $$$ for what you get. The recent price increase has really thinned out the customers. Probably won't be back. Too bad, it was a nice place.

The food is too expensive and the quality doesn’t live up to the high price. A chicken sandwich is $17? A cup of soup is $10?? A plate of enchiladas that taste straight out of the freezer is $21. You’re joking. Two stars for the cute 50’s aesthetic and for being a restaurant in Stephenville. Take your business elsewhere.

Husband ordered the Rosie and really enjoyed it. I ordered the ribs which were good too but neither meal was worth $25 a plate. What made our lunch enjoyable was our amazing waitress, Jordan which is why I gave 4 stars.

Had the coconut shrimp and cowboy queso. Both were delicious; coconut shrimp was the best I’ve ever had. Very fresh. Cozy and chic decor. Service was perfect— Thank you, Jordan! Glad to find this little gem in Stephenville.

Stopped in for dinner, Ricki was amazing she really took care of us. If you stop in ask for she was so nice and the food was even better! Recommend the Clucker #1!

It was average. Potato salad tasted pretty good, and we had a nice waitress. Being called Rubys Bistro we thought there would be more interesting options but it's pretty regular and the food just wasn't great quality.

Off the square in Stephenville is the quintessential Texas bar and restaurant...Rubys! Our server Jordan was so charming and polite... she's a wait staff for sure. Great beer choices and a real Texas selection for entrees: bbq, steaks, German food, southwest selections... it was awesome! Clean, fun and delicious. Ask for Jordan!

Well idk who serves hamburger steak without brown gravy and still charges $ and my chicken fried steak was a frozen something but like most places I have heard food quality is very low and prices are high $$18.99 for both our dinners. Was ridiculous plus I looked online at menu prices and it shows $13.99, so update ..but still I just ate at the ROADHOUSE CAFE GOT A FABULOUS MEAL FOR $15 + AND I HAD ALL REAL FOOD IT WAS AMAZING SO 5 DTARS TO ROADHOUSE. 1 STAR FOR RUBYS JUST CAUSE NOBODY DESERVES 0 STARS IN MY HEART ..

Some of the best food in the area. So many options. Very fresh and tasty. Not the same old fried food and chicken fried steak, thank goodness!

Was not impressed. We ate there weekend of June 13. It was “steak night” and they were out -I am not faulting them for that though (however I did think they were a bit overpriced ). We had a chicken fry and steak fingers, both of which we could have gone to Dairy Queen for the same preformed, frozen cube steaks for much cheaper. May be an okay place for a quick sandwich but won’t be back for dinner. On the good side, very decent beer selection.

A nice place, decent bar and the food was very good in terms of taste, presentation etc.It is expensive though. $48 for a ribeye and $25 for 5 coconut shrimp.....with tip we paid $363 for 4 adults and 1 child.Having said that, I would go again.
