I am so in love with the salmon roll, shaggy dog, and dragon ball! Seriously, you have no idea how fresh and delicious the salmon tastes. It's like a taste explosion in my mouth! And let me tell you, the shaggy dog roll is absolutely divine. It's the perfect balance of flavors that leaves me feeling completely satisfied. But you know what really takes the cake? The dragon ball roll. Every time I sink my teeth into it, pure joy washes over me. It's like a little piece of sushi heaven. Even my little one can't get enough of it. It's a family favorite for sure!

The food is very tasty and the sushi is always prepared well. I've been going to this spot for many years and was always left satisfied. The feel of the restaurant was very calming, good for a sushi spot. The waiters are nice and welcoming but the food wait can be long. The only thing is the price can be sometimes a lot and a little expensive. Good experience.

I eat a lot of Sushi and I swear this menu must be available online to be purchased by any restaurant. Anyway, if I had not been with a client, I would have sent my entire order back. I ordered the Maki B lunch Combo and the only thing that tasted good was the Hot & Sour soup. The Spicy tuna roll smelt and tasted spoiled, and the Chef offerings was one of the lowest grade sushi trays that I have ever tasted. I knew something was wrong when it didn’t look appetizing at all. I had to use soy sauce to mask the bland flavor, which everyone knows should be used minimally, so one can taste the actual fresh offerings. I feel sorry for the people in Sugarland if this is their go to Sushi place. I guess I have gotten spoiled by Aburri in Houston, but this is a hard pass.

Every time that we come to Aki Steak & Sushi we love our food. Everything is really good, and don’t forget to try the fried bananas with green tea ice cream.
I have been coming to Aki since 2014. The food is delicious, they have a lot of variety, and it does help that they have pictures and descriptions of items. Staff is very helpful and attentive.
First time trying sushi at Aki Steak & Sushi. We loved the atmosphere and service. Server was very friendly and brought the food as soon as the chef prepared our order. Shrimp tempura was excellent as were the other sushi plates we ordered. Definitely going back!

Love Japanese cuisine. Spent inordinate time in Japan. The experience here was terrible on many fronts. First, the server was slow to take order and after 30 minutes we did not have our food. Second, they delivered my guest's dinner and said mine was almost ready. Walked over to the sushi bar only to find the chef(?) had just begun preparing. It arrived after buy guest finished his meal. The broiled Unagi was small and barely warm. It was also a one of the lowest grade sushi trays I have ever had. Manager had to be called as the head person said he had not authority. No desire to address the issues, no desire to comp the meal nor entice another visit. Cultures vary. This restaurant is not run by Japanese nor is there in adherence to authentic Japanese preparation, quality. In reality, this place ranks below a poorly run Benihana! You have to love the response as once again, it is words, not actions to make up for the issue.

Do not get their tempura. Their tempura is nasty and unpleasant. The service was pretty decent. Server kept repeating what I said over 4 times. The environment was pretty good though. Whatever you do, don't get their bento box, tempura, or stir fried vegetables. I threw up in the parking lot eating those items.

I was sent an order by a friend for my bday. i received 3 rolls. none of the rolls came with wasabi or ginger. i eat sushi often and have never encountered this and was extremely disappointed as this was my birthday meal. i feel i more time was take to prepare an order appropriately these things would not have been missing. order #116 pickup
